FDNY and voluteers from all over the United States come to Ellijay, Ga. to build an ark for the local animal shelter. It was a huge undertaking to build a structure this big. Thank you to all who helped with the project. Spring tornados destroyed the previous barn.

'New York Says Thank You' came to Ellijay, GA July 28-30, to rebuild a barn for the Build An Ark Animal Rescue Foundation. They brought with them the 9/11 American Flag, partially destroyed in the NY attack, currently being carried to all 50 states and stitched back together. Once completed, the flag will be housed at the site of the 9/11 memorial in New York City. Al, Dana and Cloe Henderson were honored to place a stitch in the flag, July 30, 2011
