CHINA LAYOVER TOUR (BEIJING)
Join us as we explore China twice during our layovers to and from Thailand. We paid about 200 bucks each layover but everything was included and we had a private car drive us around. Best purchase ever especially considering the fact that we didn’t have to pay over 300 dollars a piece for an actual Chinese visa. Temporary visas are free at the airport for a maximum of 144 hours. Let me know if you have any question!
Also, we used “Beijing layover tours” for our tour.

TRAVEL VLOG // THE GREAT WALL LAYOVER TOUR IN BEIJING CHINA
Hi friends, recently I’ve taken an interest in videos and hope to start vlogging! I’ve always been a big fan of taking photos just so I could always look back and remember specific moments. But I’ve always been extremely jealous of those who have the vision to film, edit, and produce beautiful footage that captures raw emotion in those very moments.
This is my very first time making a video and the quality isn’t the greatest, as I didn’t know what I was doing, but I hope you enjoy it! I had a lot of fun putting this together! So here’s my attempt in documenting a moment that was special to me in December of 2016! (Be sure to view this in HD)
After putting this off for about a good year and a half haha… I finally sat myself down and finished this video of my layover tour in Beijing with my friends Terry, Kainoa, and Bryent. I can’t believe we lucked out on the weather and got to see one of the wonders of the world! It was definitely a breathtaking experience and an amazing piece of history! For more information on our layover tour or if you want to see Beyonce at the Great Wall, see the links below!
If any of you videographers have any tips or suggestions for someone new like me, please let me know in the comments below! I documented this video on my GoPro Hero 5 and used iMovie to put it all together. I’ve been wanting to learn how to make videos for quite some time now and am open to any feedback! Thank you!

The 13-Hour Layover in Beijing, China
So we had a 13-hour layover in Beijing Airport and here are some of the things we did:
- Filmed. Filmed. Filmed
- Met and had breakfast with our new found friends Sid and Hillary
- Got us some most needed Starbucks coffee
- Kissed and hugged XOXO
- Went to the restroom (and still filmed. filmed. filmed)
- Watched series and slept for hours in a covered sleeping pod
- Ate at a Thai Restaurant
- Worked out
- Tried the invisible box challenge
- And all that we failed to film lol

Beijing Great Wall layover - plan, tips, cost - 2019
Layovers could be boring or exciting adventures.
This is our experience in Beijing on 11 May’19. We had wonderful and incredible 5 hours seeing one of the new 7 Wonders of the World. We highly recommend it!
The good think of getting private driver/guide is that you don't book and pre-pay online! You can pay cash at the end.
Thanks to our private guide everything went smooth, calm and on time. Joe is really nice, friendly and knowledgeable person. His English is very good and easy to communicate to. Really, he's great! That’s how you can find him if you choose that option:

[HD] Beijing Layover Tour + Great Wall Of China 2013
Beijing, China 2013
During my trip to the Philippines I had a 8 hour layover in Beijing China. Months before i made some research about the possibilty to have a short visit and to climb the Great Wall of China.
I contacted a Beijingers well-known driver and expert on layover tours names Joe! He was really funny and kind as well.
Got into Beijing without a Visa needed, for my 8 hour lay over!
It took us about 45 minutes to reach Mutianyu (Great Wall famous section) I walked around and climbed the Wall for 3 hours and took the toboggan going back down from the wall.
I could have spent more days instead of a short layover here in Beijing, coz i think Beijing or China in general has a lot of tourist attractions to be visited, thus im pretty sure 1 stopover tour is not enough.
Here's a summary of my short tour in Beijing!
Enjoy:)

12 Hour layover in Beijing, China - Around the World in 80 Hours Part 4
One point four billion people, a global factory, ancient culture, a great mystery, a great wall. I don't think there is any way to really understand this country by walking through Tiananmen Square. China has thousands of years of history. It's been a key player in global history for millennia and always has a complicated relationship with the west. Today is no different. Is this a communist country, is this just the factory for the technology revolution, or is it something more?
My time here is rushed. My 80 hours is running out and I am still half a world away from New York City. Still, that doesn't stop the story from continuing. This is a beautiful country with amazing sights, sounds and people.
Around the World in 80 Hours is an exploration of our technology revolution, and how global air transportation has since changed not only transportation, but has also changed how we live and communicate with each other in a world that is more of a village than a planet.
If this adventure has sparked your interest, please share it with your friends. Give us a thumbs up and comment.
Next week on Episode 6: Circumference: It's a long flight from Beijing back to New York City. Will I be able to complete the trip in 80 hours? And what did I learn? Check back in next week for the finale of Around the World in 80 Hours!

About Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA):
Beijing Capital International Airport (IATA: PEK, ICAO: ZBAA) is the main international airport serving Beijing. It is located 32 km (20 mi) northeast of Beijing's city center, in an enclave of Chaoyang District and the surroundings of that enclave in suburban Shunyi District. The airport is owned and operated by the Beijing Capital International Airport Company Limited, a state-controlled company. The airport's IATA Airport code, PEK, is based on the city's former romanized name, Peking.
Beijing Capital International Airport is the main hub for Air China, the flag carrier of the People's Republic of China, which flies to around 120 destinations (excluding cargo) from Beijing. China Eastern Airlines, Hainan Airlines and China Southern Airlines also use the airport as their hub.
Beijing Capital added Terminal 3 in 2008 in time for the 2008 Summer Olympics, the second largest airport terminal in the world after Dubai International Airport's Terminal 3, and the sixth largest building in the world by area. Beijing Capital International Airport covers 1480 hectares of land.
Beijing Capital has rapidly ascended in rankings of the world's busiest airports in the past decade. It had become the busiest airport in Asia in terms of passenger traffic and total traffic movements by 2009. It has been the world's second busiest airport in terms of passenger traffic since 2010. The airport registered 557,167 aircraft movements (take-offs and landings), ranking 6th in the world in 2012.[3] In terms of cargo traffic, Beijing airport has also witnessed rapid growth. By 2012, the airport had become the 13th busiest airport in the world by cargo traffic, registering 1,787,027 tons. (
