American Revolution: Paul Revere's Sons of Liberty Bowl: An American Icon
Paul Revere’s silver Sons of Liberty bowl, fashioned in the summer of 1768 to commemorate a courageous decision by the Massachusetts Legislature, is a major document of colonial America’s resistance to the English Parliament and crown. Hear how the bowl—with its references to Magna Carta, John Wilkes, and, above all, to Liberty—acquired by the MFA in 1949, touched a resonant chord in the American psyche at the height of the Cold War and continues to be an iconic symbol of American attitudes and values.

BOSTON: THE MUSEUM of FINE ARTS and ancient EGYPTIAN TOMB ANTIQUITIES 4,000 years old ! ????️
Subscribe here: - Let's go to the world famous Museum of Fine Arts in Boston (MAssachusetts) in the USA and let's visit the wing with the Egyptian antiquities. Here, we are going to view wood carvings of servants, discovered (in 1905) in a tomb from around 2,000BC.
Egyptian tombs sometimes contained small figures showing people engaged in ordinary, domestic tasks such as baking, weaving, brewing and so forth. Such statues, known as serving statues, were included in the tomb to ensure that the deceased would enjoy the benefits of the products and services represented.
We are also going to view Egyptian funerary boats on display. The boats symbolize the transport of the dead person or their soul, from life to the afterlife. Egyptians saw death as a boat journey, a trip across their River Nile, which ran down the centre of their country, joining North and South, country and city.
Boston is Massachusetts’ capital and largest city. Founded in 1630, it’s one of the oldest cities in the U.S. The key role it played in the American Revolution is highlighted on the Freedom Trail, a 2.5-mile walking route of historic sites that tells the story of the nation’s founding. One stop, former meeting house Faneuil Hall, is a popular marketplace.
The U.S. is a country of 50 states covering a vast swath of North America, with Alaska in the northwest and Hawaii extending the nation’s presence into the Pacific Ocean. Major Atlantic Coast cities are New York, a global finance and culture center, and capital Washington, DC. Midwestern metropolis Chicago is known for influential architecture and on the west coast, Los Angeles' Hollywood is famed for filmmaking.

Museum of Fine Arts, Boston: :30, The Look
A :30 commercial promoting the MFA Boston's exhibit, The Look: Images of Glamour and Style, Photographs by Horst & Hoyningen Huene (say that 3 times fast). There's much to focus on in this TV spot, but the highlights are: shot on 16mm film in color, created for under $10,000, set design by AP, lighting that emulates the lighting of the photographer's work, genuine deco furniture, period wardrobe, period hair and makeup, and an Emmy Award. The best thing we thought we could do for this exhibit was bring the photography to life.

The Museum of Fine Arts is one of the largest art museums in the USA and in common with many institutions, over time the scale of audience places great strain on its facilities. In order to accommodate the number of visitors the central axis has been reasserted with the reintroduction of the principal entrance to the south and north. Here is a new information centre and from where visitors begin their tour of the galleries. A freestanding glazed structure – ‘a crystal spine’ – has been inserted between the building’s two main volumes to create the Art of the Americas Wing.

A Visit to the Boston Fine Arts Museum
The Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) Boston is a wonderful and inspiring world of art and culture. It houses all things classical, interesting, emotional, weird, wonderful and sublime. A truly stimulating visit for anyone who appreciates colours, shapes, shading, textures shadows and artist concepts.
The filmed extracts of exhibits and scenes from the museum are accompanied by a tune I’ve made using GarageBand called ‘Around every Corner’. It was developed using the following musical loops - ‘Abstract Atmosphere 066’, ‘Caution Synth’, ‘Drifting Off Guitar’, ‘Tambourine 07’, ‘Dusky Blues Rhythm Guitar 03’, ‘Places Unknown Strings’, Orchestra Strings 74’, ‘Countdown Cello 01’, ‘Smooth Jazz Piano 09’, ‘Avenger All’ and ‘Aperitif All’.
Enjoy !
