Myrtle Beach SkyWheel - Ferris Wheel at Night, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
This is video we just took of us going on the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel at night. This is our second time going on this (we did two years ago too). The first time I was totally terrified so I am very happy to report that outside of a few early moments of quiet fear, I ended up really enjoying it! We stayed at our regular spot, the Dunes Village Resort, and we can see the SkyWheel from our hotel room balcony, in addition to when we are hanging out on the beach in front of our hotel. I spontaneously decided we should go over there our last night, since it just looks so appealing at night! I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Myrtle Beach, even if you are afraid of heights and generally would never get on a ferris wheel! If I can do it, I can assure you, anyone can!!!! And thanks to the wonderful woman who works there and guy hanging out near us. When I almost backed out of getting on, they both convinced me I should get on! They were great, and their motivational words made a huge difference!! Thanks for watching and please subscribe to our YouTube Channel, NVAFAM, so we may share more with you! Thanks!! :)

Once you are onboard your ride will last between 8-12 minutes. The SkyWheel is made up of gondolas, which hold up to 6 passengers each. These gondolas are made up of non-reflective glass on all sides. This will let you take the possible pictures or videos for your vacation memories. The really cool thing is that there is even a VIP gondola. You will have leather bucket seating, and to make the view even more amazing the floor is glass too.
The SkyWheel offers to completely different adventures. One by day, and the other by night. The daytime offers amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach. While the wheel comes alive with one million LED lights at night.
We just did the SkyWheel. It was amazing.
Really fun.
It was so much fun.
Certainly the highlight of our trip. No pun intended.
I think it's well worth it.
There's nothing scary about it.
Yes.
It's just a relaxed ride.
Very relaxed, yeah.
You can look to see
Yeah, it was amazing how smooth it was.
Time to experience a piece of what the SkyWheel has firsthand. Climb aboard, look at the spacious interiors of the gondola. Everyone will have a great view. No need to worry about that. There are two comfortable benches that are spacious enough for up to six guest. Don't worry about the weather being too hot. These gondolas have air conditioning, which will make those hot summer days much cooler. This is such a smooth ride as you go up, and your view is ever changing, looking out as far as you can see over the Atlantic Ocean. What an awesome view and comfortable ride. Are you ready for your SkyWheel adventure? As the sun is setting the SkyWheel is taking on an entirely new style. As the LED lights begin appearing it is now time to experience the SkyWheel at night. It seems completely different as the night sky has so many stars out over the Atlantic Ocean. So many cool things to point out and take some great pictures of to take home and show your friends.
