A Walk Through the Wufu Alley Street Market, Shanghai, China
Although there are supermarkets in Shanghai, people still love to shop for food at open-air street markets, even in the midst of modern Shanghai. It's not very sanitary (cleaning fish in the gutter, smoking while butchering meat), but it sure is colorful.

48 hours in a Village in China | What to Wear and Do in Chengde, China
300,000 people wouldn't constitute a small town in most countries, but Chengde is small town China. One of my favorite parts about China—even small town China—is how diverse and huge it is—I always feel bad saying this and this about China. Because China is too big to be held to single descriptors. So in this What to Wear Where I'm in my friend's hometown of Chengde, China. Foreigners aren't so common here, the food is good, and the people are kind (and apparently have meet ups for their birds).
What to Wear Where is a series where we travel with minimal packing and talk about what to do and what to wear...where. Because I like to travel, and most places I go I wear [sustainable] clothes.

Postcards From China Shopping mobisode
The thought of shopping in China until recently would conjure up thoughts of Kung Fu shoes, silk pajamas and inexpensive knock offs of American products. This is not even close to today's reality. There are beautiful boutique stores with names like Gucci,Louis Vuitton, Chloe and almost every other major luxury brand you could imagine. The advent of the new luxury mall lines the streets of Beijing's major shopping district of Wang Fu Jing. Shopping in China could almost be classified as a sport there are so many dizzying options that if you are a novice you could be overwhelmed. The markets such as Silk Road or the Pearl Market are marvels of mass consumerism and are not to be missed while in Beijing
