Welcome to the culinary world of Go Thai Cooking School. Located in Bangkok right inside Bangkok's oldest market it is our mission to indulge you the taste of Thai Food.
Sompong Thai Cooking Class in Bangkok #SquadGoals
A few of my ex-pat friends in Bangkok agreed to attend the Sompong Cooking School with me. And it was fun as hell. Not only is cooking thai food fun, it's doubly so when you do it with a great group of friends. We made Massman Curry, Tom Yum Goong, Thai Fried Rice, and a Pumpkin in Coconut Milk. Everything tasted great of course. The class cost 1000baht. An absolute steal for what you get. You also leave with a free cookbook and bag.

THE BEST Thai Cooking School | Chiang Mai Thailand
Today's adventure brought to you by:
You can't visit Chiang Mai, Thailand without taking an authentic Thai cooking class! We had the opportunity to spend a full day at the Thai Secret Cooking School. Obviously we haven't been to every cooking school in Chiang Mai, but I can very confidently say the Thai Secret Cooking School is by far the best cooking school in Chiang Mai!
The day started with a trip to the local market to pick up ingredients that we would use during our cooking class. After that we took a short drive to the cooking school. The cooking is also an organic farm (and their lovely home!). So before we began our cooking class, we went out to the garden and picked ingredients like flowers and herbs to cook our delicious Thai food!
During the cooking class, we chose to learn to cook pad thai, spring rolls, Penang curry paste, Penang curry with pork, mango sticky rice, and other Thai dishes. May is the instructor that teaches the Thai cooking class. She has an awesome personality and makes everything so much fun! She definitely makes the experience even greater!
If you are visiting Chiang Mai, and you love food half as much as we do - Definitely go to a Thai cooking school. The Thai Secret Cooking School comes with our absolute highest recommendations! We had a blast!

Best Thai Cooking Class in Chiang Mai: Thai Akha Cooking School | Thailand Vlog | Kathryn Tamblyn
Akha is the best Thai cooking school in Chiang Mai, without a doubt!
We start the day exploring the Local Area of the Chiang Mai Gate Market to buy ingredients for our cooking class. Next, we head to Thai Akha Cooking School where we make 10+ traditional Thai Akha dishes - everything from papaya salad and spring rolls to pad thai and mango sticky rice. We had such a great time and I highly recommend visiting Akha when you're in Chiang Mai.

Amita Thai Cooking Class Bangkok, Thailand (1/2)
Amita Thai Cooking provides a unique portal into the traditional Thai way of cooking. The classes are not conducted in a fancy, but uninviting, 5 star hotel but in a series of bright and airy Salas built along a klong (small river) that connects to the mighty Chao Phraya River. The site is an old family compound owned by my Aunt's, family for many generations. The school is located on the Thonburi side of the Chao Praya river which is where Bangkok was originally settled and selected by Phraya Taksin over 200 years ago.
Tam, my aunt, is a fabulous cook and has cooked for dignitaries around the world. In fact she has a degree from the prestigious FIDM Institute in Los Angeles. My uncle Montri was a Director at the Tourism Authority of Thailand and has attended schools in hospitality in Switzerland. Combined, their knowledge and expertise make a perfect recipe for the creation of a cooking school.
The classes are small and intimate, more like cooking with a long lost friend than in a big institution. You get to learn how real Thais cook for themselves and for special occasions. The fee includes hotel pick-up and transportation via Bangkoks famous waterwaysafterall, Bangkok is known as the Venice of the East.
This video is of a special private class set up especially for my kids who have had very little experience in the kitchen. Regular classes are not very different in the amount of care and attention that Tam provides to her guests. My kids had an enjoyable and memorable experience and left with a whole new concept of cooking and Thai food.
If you like what you see, please visit their website for free recipes, or better yet, sign up for some classes!

COOKING CLASS CHIANG MAI - THAI SECRET COOKING SCHOOL | Thailand Travel Vlog 53
No trip to Chiang Mai is complete without taking a traditional Thai Cooking Class! Todays trip is all thanks to the best Thai cooking class in Chiang Mai, Thai Secret Cooking School - be sure to check them out to book your cooking class here: chiang-mai-cooking-school.com
Before we drove out to the farm in the rice paddies, the morning started with a trip to a traditional Thailand local market to buy the ingredients for the class. We then cooked a feast of Spring Rolls, Pad Thai, Penang Curry, Chicken Coconut soup, Mango Sticky Rice - all prepared ourselves by making the curry paste and shredding the coconut. The reason we think this is the best cooking school in Chiang Mai city is partly due to the owner, operator and instructor, May. She was hilarious, informative and so lovely the whole day - just watch the video and you'll see how much of a joy she is, it's that special touch that makes the whole cooking class so much fun. Our cookery skills may have been a little average, but the food was still incredible and we highly recommend you take the course! If you do, say hello from Daneger and Stacey :)

- Baan Tawai Woodcarving Village, this is truly astonishing....
- Chiang Mai Sunday Night Market
- and MORE!

Thailand | Day 5: Cooking Thai Style
Chef Leez is probably the best thai cooking school you can go to in BANGKOK!!! The Chef is an absolutely amazing cook and such a wonderful person. She kind of reminds me of a sister who went to culinary arts school. She teaches you like family and shows you techniques like a master. The class is so easy, informative and quite appetizing!! That day was such a rough day travelling that Steph's feet even swelled, after class Chef Leez insisted on giving her a Thai massage. Such a wonderful experience! And now we can cook Thai food like a pro!
