Paris 12th Arrondissement - 20 in 20 Day 12 - Rue Cremieux and Coulee Verte
Paris' 12th arrondissement isn't one I'd go to for coffee or a meal, but it does have Rue Cremieux and the Coulee Verte, which are both fantastic spots to wander and take photos. Grab my guide to Paris here: for these and plenty of other options for food, drinks, and coffee while visiting the 12th and surrounding areas!

FAQ:
How long have you lived in France? On and off for over two years.
What do you miss most about ho- NACHOS
You're always talking about living on some ship. WHAT SHIP? - I made a Draw My Life video that explains a lot here:
Where are you from originally? - Pullman, Washington - a small university/agricultural town near Idaho (and yes, the potatoes are amazing).
What do you film with? - I've made a lot of changes recently, but I try to keep my gear list up to date if you want to see what I use and buy some for yourself:
What do you edit with? - Adobe Premiere - it's pretty much all I've ever used since high school.
Aren't you ever freaked out by leaving your camera behind to film yourself? - Yep. But not too badly - I tend to be careful when I do.
Why are you living in #Paris? - Because I've always wanted to; I feel at home here:
Do you speak French? Oui.
You talk a lot about the books you're working on, what are they about? - They're sci-fi (and fantasy) and I've got a decent pitch for you here:
Do you make money off YouTube? - Ha, no. I wish. It took me over 500 videos to make my first total $100 off adsense. I think it will slowly change, but VERY slowly.
I really enjoy your videos, how can I support you? - The easiest and best way to support me is through Patreon, where you can pitch in as little as $1/mo to help me make better videos:
I don't trust this Patreon thing - can I just paypal you? - Here's my ko-fi if that's your thing (and coffee is your game):
But I want to send you something tangible! - I do have a wishlist on Amazon, though it's a bit complicated with the international shipping situation. This is the US one:
And here's the French wishlist:

A Walk Around The 12th Arrondissement of Paris
The 12th arrondissement of Paris (XIIe arrondissement) is one of the 20 arrondissements, or boroughs, of the capital city of France. In spoken French, this arrondissement is referred to as douzième (twelfth).
The arrondissement, called Reuilly, is situated on the right bank of the River Seine. The district has been significantly reorganized in recent decades, especially in the areas of Cour Saint-Émilion and Bercy, which now contain the French Ministry of Finances and the Bercy arena, now renamed Accorhotels Arena.
The 12th arrondissement contains the Opéra de la Bastille, the second largest opera house in Paris. It was inaugurated in 1989, on the 200th anniversary of the storming of the Bastille. The Bois de Vincennes is also located in this arrondissement.

PARIS: 12th Arrondissement - huge food market, elevated Coulee Verte walkway & then to La Défense
A fascinating day of exploring the huge Aligre Market in the 12th Arrondissment area of Paris. I then walk the length of the elevated Coulee Verte walkway (Promenade plantée) followed by a Paris Metro ride to the northwest part of the city to see the futuristic La Defense area.

COUR D'ALSACE-LORRAINE Unique Real Paris tour of Hidden Gem in 12th arrondissement
Longer than my usual posts BUT le Cour d'Alsace-Lorraine can’t be done justice in a minute. Named in honor of France’s Alsace Lorraine region, lost after picking a fight with Germany (the ill-advised Franco-Prussian War, 1870) the cour d'Alsace Lorraine truly exemplifies the magic hidden, off-beat & very authentic character of Paris. Built mid 19th century it was until but MOMENTS ago a series of small'ish crumbling, dingy'ish warehouses, workshops, small factories, etc. It has just undergone a stunning and simply amazing renovation. There’s still cement dust in the air and cinder blocks scattered about but this is now Ground Zero for all that is cool, hip and progressive in the 12th –Paris’s 2nd largest, and is inhabited by authentic, individualistic, and friendly Artisans of many stripes, specialist Book Editors, steel-smiths, specialized high-end carpet restores and a raft of other high-end adjective salivating professions.
The cour now sports upbeat, charming, pastel hues more reminiscent of San Francisco's Painted Ladies or London’s Potobello Road. The businesses are limited to the ground floor. Above are apartments and homes. And the twain shall never meet. Cool, that.

Marché D'Aligre, an open market in Paris' working class 12th arrondissement.
Tucked behind the Bastille in Paris' 12th arrondissement is one of my favorite neighborhoods. Anchored by a sprawling market, the quartier d'Aligre is a working-class neighborhood well known for its great food. This is definitely something to do in Paris if you are passionate about food. This market is a true feast for the senses with so many vibrant colors. Reasonable prices and an eastern Paris location ensure that you'll catch a glimpse of working class Parisian families going about their shopping.

À la découverte du 12e arrondissement de Paris
Bel-air, Picpus, Bercy, Quinze-Vingts...

PARIS 12 days~
My first trip to Paris!! And I made a movie for it to explain how much I love this wonderful city~
Hotel de la Porte Dorée Paris - Tour of Hotel & Superior Double Room - 12th Arrondissement
Check out our YouTube show MouseSteps Weekly:
Earlier this year we stayed at the Hotel de la Porte Dorée in the 12th Arrondissement, Denise had stayed here before several times. We stayed in a Superior Double room. This is a family owned hotel, very welcoming and just a minute's walk from the Metro. It is also across from the famous Vandermeersch bakery that sells the Kouglof. This video includes a look at the hotel, walking up to the room (and a peek inside the tiny elevator), a tour of the Superior Double room, and the Kouglof we purchased across the street. This location is not in a tourist neighborhood as much as a residential one.

PARIS, FRANCE Panoramic view on Paris from the Dome of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart
Back From Paris 12/7/2017
I went on holiday for a week in Paris, France with my older sister, and it was truly beautiful and mesmerizing.
A video glimpse of Paris' Promonade Planetee (Paris 12th Arrondissement) running path
A glimpse of Promonade Planetee or Chemin Vert (planted walkway,12th Arron) & bits of the Jardin De Reuilly. Kinda like NYC's elevated walkway, only over a viaduct! Large & cool sundial at this juncture. Locals oriented. Worth detour. This area = a computer store mecca! See all videos & MORE at: 60secondparis.com - cheers David
