April 04 2012 Lakewood Ohio Backyard Broadcast by Inta M.C. Mitterbach 20120404 MOV09733.MPG IMCM
This is an amateur video broadcast in Lakewood, Ohio (USA), a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio, on Wednesday, April 04, 2012, produced by Inta M.C. Mitterbach. Subject matter includes an inside look at the life of Inta M.C. Mitterbach. I was interested in seeing the world and thought someone might be interested in seeing a few moments of my micro view. (No profanity. References made with regard to the government and military of The United States. Probably a bit non traditional, maybe a bit extremist?) -- Inta M.C. Excerpt from yesterdays meeting to organize a petition push this weekend in 3 cities in Ohio.

Bernie's official campaign is asking for YOUR HELP this weekend in a big push from to get Bernie on the Ballot in Ohio. The rules are a bit delicate and it's possible in theory for the application to be rejected with no recourse, in which case Ohio would probably mostly be FORFEIT to... another candidate. So the campaign wants to approach this very carefully, doing as much work as possible up-front to validate signatures before submission.
The official campaign will have petitions ready for us to circulate very soon, and almost every Bernie supporter will be able to circulate one(*). Even those who can't circulate them, we need your help! The campaign is aiming to get these signatures together THIS WEEKEND. If we finish this up on Saturday, we can kick back and enjoy the debate-watch party 8pm that evening all the more!
There are going to be petition-gathering events this Saturday & Sunday in Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati & Dayton (at the very least.) (Check our events page for more details.) We're only allowed to submit a limited number of signatures, so the official campaign will be giving us walk lists of qualified voters, and asking us to go door-to-door to collect signatures from them. That way we'll KNOW we have the right address for each person who signs. (Bad addresses are one way petition signatures are often invalidated.)
If you can't circulate the petition, you can still help by manning a staging area or by driving qualified circulators to good canvassing areas. A staging area can either be your home or a coffee-shop, where you'll provide petitions to people who want to canvas in your area, and collect signed petitions from them when they're done. Again, let us know in the comments!
(*)You can circulate / sign a petition as long as EITHER (a) you voted in a Democratic primary in 2013-2015, OR (b) you haven't voted in any OTHER party's primary in 2013-2015. I know it's a weird pair of options, but that is exactly what the law (RC 3513.03) says.

Ideas Sunday - School of One; Boomerang Champ; Michelangelo Exhibition
We meet some of the students enrolled at the School of One at the Foundry, one of the smallest educational institutions operated by the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.
Neither the Cavs, Indians, nor Browns brought a championship to Cleveland this year, but Logan Broadbent did. In August, the Clevelander took home the individual national championship in the sport of boomerang. As ideastream's Mike McIntyre discovered when he visited Edgewater Park with the champ, it's not an easy sport to master.
Plus, the legendary renaissance artist Michelangelo likely never intended for people to see his sketches. Yet they provide a window into how he created masterpieces. We go inside a new exhibition of his drawings, on view at the Cleveland Museum of Art.

Oct 25th update: Prairie Seeds Academy disqualified from soccer tournament
Oct 24th update: Prairie Seeds disqualified from state soccer playoffs
Oct 21st update story at:
Maple Grove Police are investigating an on-the-field brawl that broke out Thursday night in the final seconds of a high school soccer game.
The soccer section championship between Totino-Grace and Prairie Seeds Academy was supposed to determine who would advance to the state tournament, but now an end of the game fight involving multiple players puts into question whether all of the Prairie Seeds players will be able to advance to the state tournament.
Channel 12 Sports video of the game at Maple Grove's High School stadium shows multiple punches thrown between opposing teammates after Prairie Seeds Academy's 2-1 victory. The video also shows Totino-Grace's soccer coach getting a punch to the head by the Prairie Seeds Academy goalie as the coach tried to separate the feuding players.
At least one Totino-Grace player was injured in the fight and required stitches. Maple Grove Police Captain Keith Terlinden says it's too early to tell whether criminal charges will result.
It's an active investigation, we're still trying to get all the facts surrounding it said Terlinden. Depending on the severity of the injuries is depending on what we would charge.
In a statement late Friday afternoon, the Minnesota State High School League said it has initiated its own investigation of the incidents and hopes to reach a conclusion on Monday.
Totino-Grace Athletic Director Mike Smith said Friday the whole point of the championship game is now unfortunately overshadowed by the end of the game brawl.
These are teams that are very talented, they've worked really hard, they played a great competitive game, and unfortunately, right now, nobody is talking about that part, said Smith.

Police Car Crash USA, Eaton Township, Ohio
*** Subscribe to Police Officers: ***
Eaton Township, Ohio, United States, August 2, 2016 - Two Ohio Patrol troopers involved in a high-speed crash while pursuing a drunk driver on Durkee Road earlier this month remain on light duty.
A video obtained by The Chronicle-Telegram through a public records request shows the sequence of events, but the dashboard camera goes black when it gets knocked over during the crash.
Sgt. David Dylag was driving on Durkee Road on Aug. 2 when he spotted a driver suspected of intoxication going the opposite direction. He quickly pulls off the road, activates his lights and makes a three-point turn to pursue the vehicle, the video shows.
Seconds later, Trooper Lance Deshuk spots the same vehicle and pulls into the driveway of a private residence to also change direction.
While he’s pulling out of the driveway, Dylag, going about 60 mph, strikes Deshuk on the rear passenger side at 10:16 p.m. Aug. 2.
Both troopers suffered minor injuries and were taken to University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. Their cars, Dodge Chargers, sustained heavy damage and had to be towed.
Dylag has worked for the patrol for 18 years, Deshuk for 15 years.
The alleged intoxicated driver was apprehended a few hours later, on Aug.3 by North Ridgeville police. The driver, Robert F. Steele, 52, of Grafton, was turned over to the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office and charged with operating a vehicle impaired, fleeing, driving in marked lanes, driving with an open contained and driving under suspension. He waived his right to a preliminary hearing and will face a grand jury in Lorain County.
Elyria post commander Lt. Carlos Smith did not immediately return calls for comment. An Ohio Patrol dispatcher said the troopers are doing office work and are not back on the road.

34 family members arrested in drug bust; $400k in cocaine seized
ELYRIA, Ohio - Elyria Police, Lorain Police and the Lorain County Sheriff's Department arrested 34 people—all related to each other in some way—in connection with $400,000 of cocaine seized.
The investigation started last year and ramped up in the past two months, culminating in the arrests Friday, March 13 and Monday, March 16, investigators said during a press conference Wednesday.
Authorities seized 3.4 kilos of cocaine, worth $400,000, five guns and $85,000 in cash.
The leaders of what's been dubbed the Burns, Milton and Tillman Drug Trafficking Organization by authorities are Jarvis Burns, 33, of Sheffield Lake, who paid for the cocaine, and his cousin Travis Milton, 32, of Elyria, who orchestrated large-scale buys from two dealers in Cleveland.
The large-scale transactions were at Burns' and Milton's grandmother Grace Milton's home on Tattersal Court in Elyria.
They bought $43,000 of cocaine from Christopher Craig, 43 and Bernard Washington, 44, both of Cleveland, investigators said.

Geri Amani Debut Race in USTCC at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca - Race Highlights - June 2014
Geri Amani Finishes 4th in Debut US Touring Car Race in No.3 TNI Racing / SanDisk Mazdaspeed3 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca
Check out my full recap here:
Mazda Raceway inherently has a low grip surface, and while I haven't driven a front-wheel drive platform in a number of years I knew getting to know this machine was going to take a good session or two. The Nitto tire required for all USTCC cars brought me back to my early track-driving days. The NT01s are a hard to kill, lower grip DOT tire. Much like the Toyo RA1, they make a ruckus in the corners and give out under hard cornering. So sliding around a little is part of the game.
Unique to the USTCC is the qualifying format, where competitors have two separate qualifying sessions to get that fast lap in. In reality our time was spent adjusting the car and getting right for the race. Even though the Mazdaspeed3 was unfamiliar, in my first qualifying I nearly squeaked by in 3rd, but got bumped down to 4th by 4/1000th of a second. The second qualifying brought some faster times past start-finish, bumping me down to 6th. With times being quite close, I wasn't going to stress too much about where I qualified. As with any race a lot can happen when the green-flag is waved. This race was no exception.
Admittedly, the start was a bit chaotic. While normally the USTCC begins the race in a standing-start format, there appeared to have been trouble coordinating the flaggers. By the time I rolled up and others behind me where on their way up to grid, the green was already in the air. Not necessarily standing by my standard! By this time drivers behind me had a good run coming past the starter stand and further back I went. Instantly, there was a contact a few cars up, which diffused the field a bit. I was fortunate to miss the incident, remained patient during the full-course caution, and kept moving up. TNI Racing team partner Doug Makishima was my radio man, and did a great job being an extra set of eyes for me while the race unfolded.
As would any professional driver racing someone else's car, my goal was to return this Mazda to TNI exactly the way I found it (minus some fuel, tire and brake pad wear of course). As other drivers made mistakes or fell off pace, consistency paid dividends. Soon after avoiding a car that lost control and went off at Turn-11 then came back on course, his failed attempt to block put me in a position to hunt for the current P3 driver.
Focusing forward and only forward was the only way to catch these efficiently-turning BMWs. In my sights was the P3 car, a very nice looking E46 M3. I was able to catch up to him quite closely several instances under braking, trying to exploit any mistake he might make. It did seem the race ended a bit too early, as I was certain in one more lap I could have squeaked by in P3. I ultimately finished P4, turning laps quickly and consistently on par with the other top-3 drivers.
As a driver I certainly wanted a spot on the box, but wanted it more so for the team with all the hard work they put in over the weekend. The entire crew did a great job preparing a wonderful car for me to drive. It was an absolute pleasure working the TNI crew and team owners, as well as spending time with our guests from SanDisk. Judging by their enthusiasm, without a doubt I know they really enjoyed the event too!
While I barely missed the podium first time racing this car, the experience in-car and with the team more than constituted a win in my book. We are hoping to continue to gather support from partners and sponsors to help us continue running in the USTCC series.
A very special thanks to TNI Racing and SanDisk Corporation. Without their involvement, none of this would have been possible!

Crocker Park North Union Farmer's Market
Since Crocker Park's opening in 2004, we have been privileged to host the North Union Farmers Market, a nonprofit organization that operates certified, producer-only farmers markets. What does certified, producer-only mean you ask? Let us tell you a little bit about it.
The North Union first opened in 1995 and has since functioned to offer Clevelanders and Northeast Ohioans access to healthy, fresh, local produce sold directly to them by farmers. Their mission is to promote the local foods of Northeast Ohio and their environmental, economic and health benefits by connecting certified producers with consumers through their network of markets.
The North Union fulfills this mission by operating several producer-only farmers markets each week, including Crocker Park on Saturdays. Certified, producer-only, simply put, means that each vendor undergoes an onsite farm inspection and application process in order to receive a certification for participation. Therefore, when you come to the North Union Farmers Market, you know you are getting a good product.
Located in the lot across from First Watch at Crocker Park, the farmers market operates every Saturday morning from 9am-1pm showcasing a variety of venders and educating the public on the benefits of eating locally grown food. This year the market started April 16th and will run until November 19th. The North Union Farmers Market is more than just a farmers market, it is a fun way to spend Saturday morning with family and friends and there is always a lot to see!
Crocker Park recently started the Mange Urban Gardening Program and built a special urban garden to be part of the farmers market! The project incorporates a green roof, rainwater collection, and organic compost with product from the garden being donated to the Plant a Row project in conjunction with Master Gardeners. Also beginning shortly, we will be highlighting a new farmer from the farmers market each week here on our blog, so stay tuned! In the meantime check out our video from last weeks farmers market!
Go to the North Union Farmers Market website for more information including a seasons chart, recipes and 10 Reasons to Eat Local!

Couple Stunned After They’re Charged With Murder in Death of 10-Month-Old
A Michigan couple has been charged with murder for allegedly starving their 10-month-old daughter to death. Seth Welch and his wife, Tatiana, both 27, stand accused of starving their infant daughter, Mary. She was found dead in their home near Grand Rapids on August 2. Seth’s jaw dropped when the judge read off the charges and Tatiana sobbed uncontrollably during the hearing. An autopsy revealed the cause of Mary’s death was malnutrition and dehydration due to neglect by adult caregivers.
LOTT Hawks Prairie Satellite Park (water reclamation): Lacey, WA
There are a lot of these water reclamation sites. Do they work good? The appearance of this LOTT is a little bit different from the one on Saint Martins water reclamation site. For example, LOTT let the algae grow completely over the tops of their ponds. Is this a big difference? If you don't mind killing off all the plant life at the bottom, then it may not be so bad. I wonder if all this human interference in nature is just based on personal preferences.

In the late '80s, the Strode family of Marion, North Carolina, became infamous for striking fear in the heart of their town. Their son Duffey, who started preaching at age 5, could be found screaming Bible verses at the top of his lungs on school grounds. His parents eventually decided to homeschool their children after Duffey was suspended from school multiple times and a petition suggesting the family should leave town received nearly 500 signatures, according to The Washington Post.
