BC Highway 3 - Similkameen
While I hate this highway when I am stuck behind slower drivers, I do love it when it is empty. This was one of those times. This was a lot of fun to rip through the valley, and being able to take the corners as fast as I wanted was a lot of fun. This was right before the climb up Richter Pass. You can see for miles ahead. The Adventure Begins - Living full time in an RV
What does living the dream mean to you??
For us, it's adventures... it's waking up in different cities, seeing the sights, exploring unknown areas.... life on the open road.
We're not new to travelling. In fact, we have done quite a few road trips. And the truth is, we love it! We love it so much, we want to do it full time. So, this is our first step. The first of many.
We currently have a 27 foot travel trailer, which we pull behind our truck. We have put some major miles on our current set up. Right now, we don't know if it's going to be big enough to live in full time. So we've decided to check out a few different options.
This is a walkthrough of a Georgetown motorhome by Forest River. It's a little bigger then what we were thinking, but we decided to take a look.
Our adventure is just beginning. Subscribe to our channel to be a part of our journey.

Whistler BC Canada by Motorcycle | Sea to Sky Corridor | Highway 99
Why does everybody go to Whistler?
Hi, I’m chummysmitty, and it’s my goal to find the best driving roads in North America. This time we’re in Whistler Canada on highway 99 the Sea to Sky Corridor ’s largest and most sought-after ski resort. In Whistler, we’ll Carve though twisty’s (GOPRO864), race an Audi R8 in downtown Vancouver (850), cruise past lakes (DJI - 15), and eat Bison Flat Iron Steak at the Fairmont Hotel ( or The classic introduction to any Whistler visit is taking a canal boat ride… no, I mean skiing down the Blackcomb Mountains. These mountains are a skierֹs dream destination, the ultimate in big mountain experiences. Over 8,000 acres of snow-covered slopes, 16 alpine bowls, 3 glaciers, world-class terrain parks and 200+ marked trails. Whistler lies on the rugged west coast of Canada, a two hour drive north of Vancouver, and is smack in the flightpath of Pacific storms. Its snow record is magical: more than 33 metres a year drift onto these hills.' If you’re an American, that’s the distance from home plate to first base As soon as you leave Vancouver … you edge into a desolate mountainscape that feels authentic and untamed. It has bare teeth; killer whales rise in the depths offshore, eagles wheel overhead and bears growl and nuzzle in the giant forest of cedar and spruce. ---These aren’t my words but from Conde Nast traveler. In fact, most of what I say is plagiarized Just a two-hour drive from Vancouver lies the behemoth that is Whistler Blackcomb. Once two separate, stellar resorts on their own, the two merged in 1997 to become one of the largest and most sought-after ski vacations on earth. But it isn’t just the world-class terrain that does it. At the base of the mountain, you’ll find fine dining, low-key watering holes, and much, much more. DING SOUND ( The first British survey by the Royal Navy took place in the 1860s. These surveyors named the mountain London Mountain because of the heavy fog and cloud typically gathering around the mountain, but the area informally acquired the name Whistler due to the call of the hoary marmot ( Whistler has been highlighted in movies… from Ski School, a 1991 comedy, with Dean Cameron, to the wonderful Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and part-2 …both of which were all filmed near Whistler. Another fun fact is that while at Microsoft under development, Windows XP’s codename was Whistler --- plus a credit image from The Valley is flanked by glaciated mountains on both sides; the Garibaldi Ranges on the side that contains the ski mountains, and the larger Pacific Ranges of the Pemberton Icefield. This is the reason British Columbia Highway 99, in my opinion, is one of the best roads in North America. In fact UK's own The Guardian newspaper, listed the Sea to Sky Corridor as the fifth best road trip worldwide in 2006. (“congratulatory clapping sounds”) So, why is it such a great road? According to renowned quantum physicist, Dr Mark Hadley - There are several key phases of the perfect road - Dr Hadley scientifically established the World's Best Driving Road, … calculated with an ideal ratio of 10 seconds on a straight compared to 1 second spent on a bend. This may seem a bit familiar to some of you To be honest…. while riding HWY 99 I wasn’t trying to understand all of the intricacies that define a great driving road. But yes, expect to tear up those twisties, I assume you’ll fly past those Canadian locals, and maybe even cruise with other bikers on your way to eat some steak. I would say that Whistler is one of my favorite places to ride a bike motorcycle ………… so please, go to Whistler and lay down some rubber, pop a wheelie, drag your knee or do whatever you kids are doing these days. Thanks for joining us. I hope you’ve enjoyed our look at Whistler. I’m Rick Steves.... I mean chummysmitty. Until next time, keep on travelin’… with your motorcycle.

Kokanee Controlled Depth Trolling Wood Lake BC
Wood Lake British Columbia was the first lake that I ever fished for and caught a kokanee. These smaller sized land locked sockeye are a great fish to catch during the summer and make a tasty meal. When we started fishing for them we would use weights on our lake trolls to get the lure to depth. Now I have downriggers on the boat which makes controlled depth angling for these kokanee a whole lot easier. While with weighted line you're just guessing where your lure is based on how much line you let out, with a downrigger you know exactly where your lure is. Match up this with the depth of the kokanee schools and you are usually hooking up with fish in no time at all. I hope you enjoy the video. Let me know what else you would be interested in seeing or information you are interested. Maybe I can help out with more how to videos in the future.
►►►►►About The Fishing Doctors Adventures◄◄◄◄◄
Hey everyone, I’m Brandon the Host and Creator of this channel. I started making videos back when YouTube was created in 2006 and increasingly posted more fishing content until 2013 when I named my Channel “The Fishing Doctors Adventures”. Some people ask me why and I tell them, “Because I’m a Medical Doctor who loves going on Fishing Adventures!” I try to fish where ever I go and I am always trying to expand my boarders. Right now most of my time is spent In British Columbia and Alberta, Canada. I also have many videos from California when I lived there and have spent some time fishing Idaho, Saskatchewan, Mexico and the Pacific Ocean. I fish from whatever I can whether it be Ice fishing and all the way to out on the ocean in my kayak. Lakes, rivers, streams, sloughs, oceans…. Where ever the fish are found I will be in search of them. I make the videos because I enjoy capturing my days on the water an sharing with others. I also share a lot of tips that I have learned over the years in these videos and my goal is to help new and experienced fishermen catch more fish while out on the water!

In 1871, it became the sixth province of Canada. Its Latin motto is Splendor sine occasu .

SUMMARY
=======
British Columbia (BC; French: Colombie-Britannique) is the westernmost province of Canada, located between the Pacific Ocean and the Rocky Mountains. With an estimated population of 4.817 million as of 2017, it is Canada's third-most populous province.
The first British settlement in the area was Fort Victoria, established in 1843, which gave rise to the City of Victoria, at first the capital of the separate Colony of Vancouver Island. Subsequently, on the mainland, the Colony of British Columbia (1858–1866) was founded by Richard Clement Moody and the Royal Engineers, Columbia Detachment, in response to the Fraser Canyon Gold Rush. Moody was Chief Commissioner of Lands and Works for the Colony and the first Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia: he was hand-picked by the Colonial Office in London to transform British Columbia into the British Empire's bulwark in the farthest west, and to found a second England on the shores of the Pacific. Moody selected the site for and founded the original capital of British Columbia, New Westminster, established the Cariboo Road and Stanley Park, and designed the first version of the Coat of arms of British Columbia. Port Moody is named after him.In 1866, Vancouver Island became part of the colony of British Columbia, and Victoria became the united colony's capital. In 1871, British Columbia became the sixth province of Canada. Its Latin motto is Splendor sine occasu (Splendour without Diminishment).
The capital of British Columbia remains Victoria, the fifteenth-largest metropolitan region in Canada, named for the Queen who created the original European colonies. The largest city is Vancouver, the third-largest metropolitan area in Canada, the largest in Western Canada, and the second-largest in the Pacific Northwest. In October 2013, British Columbia had an estimated population of 4,606,371 (about 2.5 million of whom were in Greater Vancouver). The province is currently governed by the British Columbia New Democratic Party in a minority government supported by the Green Party of British Columbia, led by John Horgan, who became premier as a result of a no-confidence motion on June 29, 2017.
British Columbia evolved from British possessions that were established in what is now British Columbia by 1871. First Nations, the original inhabitants of the land, have a history of at least 10,000 years in the area. Today there are few treaties and the question of Aboriginal Title, long ignored, has become a legal and political question of frequent debate as a result of recent court actions. Notably, the Tsilhqot'in Nation has established Aboriginal title to a portion of their territory, as a result of the recent Supreme Court of Canada decision (William [Tsilhqot'in Nation] v. British Columbia).
