Climbing the Highest mountain in Southern Scotland (The Merrick)
Me and Jord climbing to the top of the Merrick which is located in the Galloway Forrest Park in Southern Scotland, Stopped at the bothy to check it out on the way up. It got really misty up at the top and the sun had already set so we were stranded on the top and had to set up camp behind the wall. On the way down next morning we got soaked and had to visit the bothy again to get warm and dry our clothes before finishing our little hiking adventure. Hopefully should be making more videos of these mini adventures, let me know what you like and don't like for next time :)

Nearby, take in the stunning red sandstone of Sweetheart Abbey and fall in love with the turbulent history of this late 13th century ruin. Head to Caerlaverock Castle to discover one of Scotland’s great medieval fortresses; complete with a moat, towered gatehouse and imposing battlements, you’ll feel instantly transported back in time.
