Shanghai Museum in the Huangpu District, China
The Shanghai Museum is a museum of ancient Chinese art, situated on the People's Square in the Huangpu District of Shanghai, China. Rebuilt at its current location in 1996, it is considered one of China's first world-class modern museums.
The museum was founded in 1952 and was first open to the public in the former Shanghai Racecourse club house, now at 325 West Nanjing Road. The museum's founding collections came principally from three sources: a batch of artefacts gathered by the Communist 3rd Field Army during the civil war from accidental finds and confiscations of private property and brought to Shanghai upon the Communists' conquest of the city; artefacts confiscated by the customs service; items sold by private collectors due to political pressure during political purges and purchased by the government. The former Shanghai Municipal Museum was also merged into the new Shanghai Museum.

70 Years Inherited: The No. 49 bus in Shanghai
Liu Changyan is a driver on the No.49 bus. His father used to be a ticket seller on this bus. When Liu was young, he took the No.49 bus on time after school every day. Sitting in the back of the bus, he read books quietly and enjoyed the beautiful night view outside the window. They went home together after his father got off work; Hankou Road, People’s Square for Tumor Hospital, Shanghai Indoor Stadium. They were familiar with every site along the bus line. No.49 is a popular bus line in Shanghai. Since 1956, it has been operating with a Dodge bus, a Skoda 706RTO diesel bus, a Volvo ultra-long bus and other vehicles. Now, No.49 bus is equipped with the latest automatic gasoline engine with a car camera, GPS and air conditioning. The superbus has always been at the forefront of the times. With the development of the subway transportation, the passenger load of Shanghai buses has decreased a lot. The route of the No.49 bus spans the new and old urban areas, passing through many scenic spots and ancient buildings. Therefore, the bus is still popular with tourists and foreigners. The crew of the No.49 bus have always insisted on high standards of service. “We have a catchword: For our passengers, we must work hard every day.”

Tallest Buildings In The World Height Comparison
Tallest Buildings In The World Height Comparison
In 1996, as a response to the dispute as to whether the Petronas Towers or the Sears Tower was taller, the (CTBUH) listed and ranked buildings in four categories:
height to structural or architectural top;
height to floor of highest occupied floor;
height to top of roof (removed as category in November 2009); and
height to top of any part of the building.
Spires are considered integral parts of the architectural design of buildings, changes to which would substantially change the appearance and design of the building, whereas antennas may be added or removed without such consequences.
As of 2019, this list includes the top 40 buildings (completed and architecturally topped out), as assessed by their highest architectural feature. If the twin towers were not destroyed and One World Trade Center never built, the WTC towers would rank 28 and 29 on the list today.
