24 Hour Spa (会所) Stay in China | An Alternative to Hotels?
Chinese spa are generally large public bath house complexes much like jjimjilbang ( 찜질방) in South Korea or onsen (温泉) in Japan. The spas are relatively cheap in China and the big 'clubs' (会所) are often 24 hours which can be a great alternative type of short-term accommodation. They provide secure lockers for you belongings, free snacks, showers, beds and communal areas to relax. They also have many additional payable features such as massage, body cleanings, beauty treatments and many more. NOTE: If you are a foreigner in China, you need to be aware that you must register with the local police station when you first arrive. You are unable to do this with a spa so this short-term stay method is only recommended for those already living in China with a police registered residence. To find one of these spas look for the Chinese name along with the characters 会所 (xxChineseNamexx会所).

The ‘Spa Club’ experience... VLOG! I’m sure this 24hr day spa idea isn’t unique to just China, but it was a first for me. They were all around in Guangzhou. You basically pay the price for a massage, but that gets you 24hours access to the whole facility like pool, sauna, lounge, buffet, and even cinema lounge! Just search ‘Spa Club’ and read to reviews to see what’s included & prices. This place was called No.9 Spa Club – Google it and go! :) And after reading more reviews it seems to be one of the top ones:)
Wondering about the Happy ending? That's not what this place is about, it's a professional and family place. Not a secret brothel or something haha. But it's no secret that any massage can end happy at pretty much any Asian massage place around the world.. there are other youtube channels if you are confused.

Highway through a Building Story ★ ONLY in JAPAN
Osaka's Gate Tower Building is an amazing sight to see because ... well, how should I put this? A highway goes through the building.
It literally does, and there is a story behind it.
In this episode, John not only goes inside to see where the elevator takes him, he also drives through it -- in a Lotus Seven. We'll also go up the Umeda Sky Building and catch some fantastic angles of the city, skyline and Gate Tower Building.
THE STORY:
Here it is from the building owner.
It’s basically a land rights dispute with a sort of happy ending.
The property was owned by a business (coal and wood company) since the early Meiji era but when business declined, so did the buildings in the 1970s. The area was approved to be redeveloped in 1983 but the property holder refused to give up the land, even though new building permits had been refused to him. The highway corporation and the property owner negotiated for 5 years and what you see today is their compromise. Highways usually buy the land they’re on but a new law in 1989 allowed the possibility of having two owners on the same spot, really meant for highways to go underground but hey – let’s get creative.
The highway is the legal tenant of floors 5 through 7.
The current building tenant on the other floors is TKP.
