Showroom 4: 580 Cua Dai Street, Hoi An Town, Viet Nam. Tel: + 84-510 3914997
Email: yalyshop@dng.vnn.vn or quynh@yalycouture.com
Yaly is probably the most popular name if you ask for a good tailor in Hoi An. Professional, the most variety of fabric available in town, high quality… are what to mention about this tailor. It’s a good place to have elaborate items made: apparel with sequins, ruffles, multiple layers of fabric, bead work and embroidery, etc. Despite being the most expensive in town, Yaly has won acclaim as the higher prices go with the higher and guaranteed quality and efficient service.
2. A DONG SILK - 40 Le Loi, Hoi An. Tel: (+84.510)3 910579/3 861386
Website: - Email: info@adongsilk.com
A Dong Silk is especially favoured for their quality and attentive service. The secret of A Dong Silk’s success may lie in their care to customer satisfaction, since most customers appraised the staff there for being very friendly and patient, as well as their knowledge of how the fabrics work with different garments and their high tailoring skill. Their wide range of fabric can also please most people.
Not a cheap one but still definitely reasonable for such a high quality of clothes and service like that!
3. LANA TAILOR - 130 Tran Phu St. /94 Le Loi St - Tel: +84-510.2212240/ 84-510.3911211
Lana Tailor
Lana has a large selection of designs to choose from. Though this shop has a better choice of designs and fabrics for women than for men, anyone can possibly be impressed by amazing girls at this tailor. Their enjoyment of work and their hospitality can make having clothes at Lana a really memorable experience. So if you’re looking for a reasonably priced shop, not the upmarket like Yaly but still with good quality, Lana isn’t a bad idea.
4. BAO KHANH SILK - 101 Tran Hung Dao St., Hoi An, Vietnam. Tel: +84-510. 3861 818

Thu Thuy is the oldest and largest shop in town. Named for its owner - Madamme Thu Thuy, this shop has been in business since 1989. Ever since then, they has well-maintain and develop their name as one of the best place for tourists to have a deluxe suit, or beautiful and fitted dress made-to-measure in the shortest time. 6. TONY the TAILOR - 294 Nguyen Duy Hieu, Hoi An -Tel: (84-510) 861 923
Tony and his family opened their tailor shop in 1996. Despite being a little outside of the main traffic area, the family-run shop is still very highly regarded since they have a great reputation for warm, friendly service and reasonable prices. Men's suits are especially well done here and men also like this place more since the owners can give them a lot of advice on the materials.
7. B’LAN SILK - 23 Tran Phu Street - Tel: +84-510.3861866
Email: bichlan@dng.vnn.vn or bichlan456@yahoo.com.vn
Hoi An Blan silk
This tailor store is within an old house, built more than 200 years ago. Therefore, customers can have a free tour around the house before having their clothes made by professional and skillful staff. The owner of the house and the shop is Ms. Bich Lan (B’Lan) who is very sweet, hospitable and known for her “no-bargaining policy”. Here every customer can be sure that they all get fixed but very reasonable prices.
Shoppers paradise in Hoi An, Vietnam
I don't usually buy any souvenirs as I travel. However, you won't find many places cheaper to shop than Hoi An, Vietnam. I decided to treat myself and buy just one or two things...
Hoi An is known as one of the best places in the world to get a suit tailored. After shopping around a bit, I decided to get a suit made from A Dong Silk.
While they worked on my suit, I bought a few pairs of shoes, including some totally-not-fake Adidas Yeezys!
Getting Dresses Made in Hoi An
Getting dresses custom made in Vietnam was one of my favourite things we did. They are fitted perfectly for you and made in the tailors pretty much within a day! Here is my step by step guide on how to choose a tailor in hoi an and how the process works! I'm assuming its the same getting a suit tailored in Hoi An too, but who knows?!

HOI AN OLD TOWN, VIETNAM
Canary yellow houses draped in bougainvillea, rickety wooden shops aglow with red silk lanterns, rippling green fields of rice, baskets laden with silver fish: Hội An is a city of Vietnam, on the coast of the East Sea in the South Central Coast region of Vietnam. It is located in Quảng Nam Province and is home to approximately 120,000 inhabitants. Hoi An is redolent of a bygone era, or the 17th and 18th centuries, to be exact. The town features a mix of Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and European architecture, and its continued cultural pulse is part of the reason why Hoi An was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. It’s also why tourists come here in droves.
THING TO DEE AND SEE IN HOI AN:
1. Old Town Heritage Ticket - Hoi An is a UNESCO World Heritage listed town so to enter the old town you must now buy a 120,000 VND (about US$6.00) ticket. Each ticket is valid for 10 days. Ticket allows you to choose 5 sights from a list, including historical houses, Japanese covered bridge, family temples, and some craft centers. 85% of the proceeds are to be reinvested in the old town, the money paying for renovations, upkeep, staff and the families that open their ancient houses for viewing.
2. Tailoring Shop – Hoi An is known for tailoring but there is enticing ready-made wear as well. Nothing declares that you’ve been to Vietnam more than pun-tastic, inside-joke T-shirts sporting “Pho-king”, “iPho” or “Pho Metal Jacket”. Load up on Dong, as there are plenty of things that will catch your eyes when it comes to shopping in Hoi An. How can you resist a tailored shiny zoot suit, shoes and bags? Hoi An has everything you never knew you wanted.
3. Cua Dai Beach – Though Hoi An doesn't really market itself as a beach getaway, there are some pleasant stretches of sand located just a hop away. Hoi An's main beach is Cua Dai, located at the end of predictably named Cua Dai Road. Some of the beach is given over to high-end resorts, but the public section is given over to high-end resorts, but the public section is the first part you see where the road meets the beach.
4. My Son Temple – (40kms from town). ½ day by bus to/from; full day going by bus out there, then returning by boat and stopping at a few pottery and art villages (if you aren’t too fussed with shopping in Hoi An, this is a great option).
5. Boat trips - Hoi An provides ample opportunities to get out onto the water. Enjoying some of the town’s many river ways is a must – hire a boat, go for a paddle or take a tour that incorporates the life aquatic.
6. Half Day Cycling Trip – If you limit yourself to Hoi An’s historic town and the beach, you’re missing out. The town’s Thu Bon River has a vast network of islands and islets perfect for two-wheel exploration.
7. Cooking Class
8. Abseiling and Explore Marble Mountain
9. Hoi An Central Market - bustling Hoi An Central Market is certainly worth a look for its authentic slice of Vietnamese life. The market is busy throughout the day with locals bargaining hard alongside tourists so it’s best to arrive first thing in the morning. The negotiating over fish usually starts around 7am as the fishermen drop their catch off and the market vendors and local buyers dive in to get the best fish. Be warned that it can get very messy, nevertheless it's certainly a sight not to be missed.
