Day 1 in Mandalay
Follow Us as we share with you the sights, sounds and tastes we explored upon arrival into Mandalay via Air KBZ!
Once we checked in to The Link, a boutique hotel located along the 78th street within the heart of the city, we headed out in search of food to kill the hunger pangs. We settled for a meal at one of the many eateries jam-packed with locals and thoroughly enjoyed the dishes we ordered.
After a satisfying meal, we ventured around the city and window-shopped at the night market near our hotel.
It was all in all a fruitful first day in Mandalay we must say!
Share with us your thoughts in the comments section below. Would you eat where the locals dine like what we always prefer? :D

Living on the banks of the Ayeyarwady (Irrawaddy) River, Mandalay, Burma
Some of Mandalay's poorest residents live in shacks along the banks of the Ayeyarwady (Irrawaddy) River; many of them work here too, loading and unloading river boats. This film gives a glimpse, though an outsider's eyes, of their homes and lives. My thanks to the people in this film for the friendly reception they gave me as I walked around their neighborhood, and for allowing me to film them.

FIRST TIME IN MYANMAR | FROM MANDALAY TO OLD BAGAN ????????
Myanmar, formally known as Burma is a destination that not all travelers will make the effort to go and see. It's not your standard South East Asian country but it honestly has so so much to offer to those that really want to get off the beaten path.
We flew into Mandalay from Bangkok and jumped in a taxi headed for Old Bagan, one of the countries top tourists attractions (vlog coming soon). Immediately after coming outside of the airport terminal and into a taxi we quickly realised that this place is not very popular, especially this time of year when it can get as got as 49 degrees c.
In this video, we take a 5 hour taxi ride from Mandalay to Old Bagan on the worst roads I have ever been on in my life. It really did throw us straight in the deep end...we came here for adventure and being off the grid and straight away it didn't disappoint.
Enjoy!
Anthony

U BEIN BRIDGE : BEST SUNSET POINT IN MANDALAY CITY | Myanmar
Hello Dosto , 2nd day of Mandalay city and this is the last point of my Day Tour. U Bein Bridge is a crossing that spans the Taungthaman Lake near Amarapura in Myanmar. The 1.2-kilometre (0.75 mi) bridge was built around 1850 and is believed to be the oldest and (once) longest teakwood bridge in the world. It is used as an important passageway for the local people and has also become a tourist attraction and therefore a significant source of income for souvenir sellers. i hope u enjoy this video.
