25 Things to do in Barcelona, Spain | Top Attractions Travel Guide Video Transcript:
This week we are exploring another Spanish city. We are in Barcelona and this video is going to highlight 25 things to do here.
It is kind of hard to believe our time in Barcelona has expired. So final thoughts.
Well, it was a really fun city to visit. Great architecture, really nice beaches. It is very lively especially at night. The only downfall is that we were here in the middle of summer so it was super hot and super crowded and sometimes that made it a little bit difficult to enjoy. Especially at midday or in the mid-afternoon. So keep that in mind. Maybe consider visiting in the springtime, fall, winter.
Well, so what did you think of the city?
It is definitely a fun city. We had a lot of fun going to the beaches. One thing that is really different about this city compared to some other European cities though is that it is really spread out. In order for us to visit all of these different attractions we had to chunk them together into groups to visit them day by day. Overall, it was a decent city. It didn't quite click with me the same way that Madrid did. But that is just personal preference I suppose.
And that is a wrap for Barcelona! Our 5 days in the city flew by, and while this guide didn't cover everything, we hope we were able to give you a feel of what this fun seaside city has to offer. As always, if you have any suggestions of things to do around town, feel free to add them in the comments below. And if you want to catch our latest travel videos, don't forget to hit subscribe!

Barcelona and Catalunya
The creative spirit of Spain's Catalunya — the land of Picasso, Gaudí, and Salvador Dalí — is on a roll. We'll get caught up in the festivity of Barcelona, enjoying the vibrant street scenes, tasty tapas, and pedestrian-friendly Gothic Quarter. Then we'll take a scenic side trip to mountaintop Montserrat, and finish with an artist's pilgrimage along the Costa Brava to Salvador Dalí country. In seaside Cadaques, we'll visit Dalí's home, and in nearby Figueres, we'll experience his playfully surreal mausoleum/museum.

Etiquette Tips, Barcelona - Spain Travel Guide
Noon lunches? Bad idea in Barcelona. Few other customs and etiquette tips for Barcelona.
As a visitor of the city it always help to be aware of the local customs and etiquette. Barcelona is the capital of the Catalon region. Many of its residence have a strong sense of idenity. As a result, catalon and the Spanish have both official language. Locals appreciate a lot if you show some knowledge of Catalon culture and language.
I used to know lunchs and dinner at 6 p.m. If you stick to this schedule in Barcelona, you will probably be the only one in the restaurant. In Barcelona lunch starts at about 2:00, 2:30 and dinner at 9:00, 9:30 the earliest. Generally people in Spain prefer to entertain their guest in restaurants or bars than at home. But, if you are invited to a private party at home, a bottle of wine or some chocolates or even flowers is really appreciated.
People in Barcelona are very particular about dressing up, especially when they are going out. So, make sure you check your dress code before heading out. When you are greeting somebody, it is two kisses, one on each cheek. A handshaking is okay but a little bit too formal. In Barcelona people are more relaxed about tipping. In restarant, tips might be included in service charges. If not, 5 or 10 percent on the bill is fine. Or small change on the bar is also okay. I am Montse Triola informing you about Barcelona.

Barcelona is the capital and biggest city of Catalonia and Spain's second biggest city, with a populace of more than one and half million individuals (more than five million in the entire region).
This city, found on the northeastern Mediterranean shoreline of Spain, has a rich history, having been under Roman, at that point Frank law before proclaiming its autonomy.
In 1992, Barcelona increased global acknowledgment by hosting the Olympic amusements which acquired an enormous upturn on its tourism industry.
This had the impact of changing the city in ways that are still felt today with neighborhoods revamped (and at times leveled) and the serious focal point of current plan saturating all parts of life in Barcelona from open structures to something as straightforward as a recreation center seat or an occasion blurb.
For guests, this has converted into the extremely present day, yet unimaginably old city you see now in the 21st century, where the new components work to both protect and commend the old.

Districts of Barcelona
The City of Barcelona is divided into 10 administrative districts each with its own Ajuntament. The city centre districts of Ciutat Vella and L'Eixample along with Sants-Montjuïc, Gràcia and the beaches of Sant Martí are the most likely desinations for tourists. But if you live here, Les Corts, Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, Horta-Guinardó. Nou Barris and Sant Andreu are not only wildly different but also have a lot going for them.
