$139.00 (adult)
$89.00 (children)

We booked in advance so I believe our prices were a bit cheaper, but nevertheless, this excursion was totally worth the price tag. Drinks were free but I would not consider this a booze cruise. No one got intoxicated and I really did not feel the urge to drink just because I was so busy looking at the view. This shore excursion was so relaxing, that after we got in for a swim, I even took a nap. There were no feelings of sea sickness or anything uncomfortable.

We were the only people doing flips and jumping off the boat. Everyone else was very calm and we were the youngest couple. I booked several shore excursions during our trip, and we both agreed this was our favorite.

The ONLY thing I can think of that might bother someone (and may have just been the day we went), there were jelly fish you could not see. I was stung and so was he, but it was very minor and felt like a pinch. Nothing serious at all, we didn't even put anything on the sting. But if I had a child, I am sure that would have been an over dramatized event that would put a damper on the day.

Overall, AMAZING! The couple that owned the boat and hooked up with the Royal Caribbean was so sweet and really made sure to go above and beyond.

Sandbar Island - VACATION VIDEO - Labadee, Haiti Catamaran Excursion

Sandbar Island is easily one of our favorite excursions ever when we cruise! You can experience it yourself at Royal Caribbean's private port in Labadee, Haiti! We love this excursion and this crew so much that we've booked it for all 6 of our trips to Labadee since 2010. We thought what better way to pay tribute to the crew of Sandbar island than to make a special edit from our most recent trip this past March (2016). If you've seen our cruise vlog then you'll recognize this video. This is not a paid advertisement and they did not know were we doing anything other than having a good time and documenting as we go, which makes this video even more enjoyable to us! Even with that, this video still doesn't do justice to how much fun we've had with them over the years! We can't wait to go back!

On our most recent cruise to the Caribbean, we made a stop off in Haiti and opted to do the Luxury Yacht Excursion offered by Royal Caribbean! Seeing as we went to the islands during the end of their rainy season it wasnt the BEST of weather but was still a gorgeous ride up the coastline.

There are many excursions that are offered through Royal Caribbean once in Labadee Haiti. We looked through all of them and we knew that the beaches there in Labadee Haiti would be packed with all of the Navigator of the Seas passengers, we decided to get to the private beach excursion of Amiga Island Experience.

We took a short boat ride (less than 10 minutes) from Labadee Haiti to Amiga Island. Once on Amiga Island, we had several hours to enjoy Amiga Island.

The gave us a drink upon arrival and then have drinks to purchase. We walked around Amiga Island, which takes all but 5 minutes as it is very small. However, there are only about 20 people that go, so you do feel like you have much of Amiga Island to yourself.

We brought our own snorkeling gear (review link below) and were able to snorkel on our own, and they had a guide that took some of us out to one of the reefs on Amiga Island.

They have hammocks, chairs, and mats to enjoy, but do bring your own towel and anything that you may want to enjoy with you as well. We brought sunscreen, drinks using our rum runner (link below) which came in VERY handy, also our Go Pro Hero 4 Silver which got some great video of Amiga Island as you can see from the video.

Overall, I highly recommend this excursion through Royal Caribbean in Labadee via the Amiga Island Experience. It was a lot of fun!
