Bruce's Big Dolphin on the A Salt Weapon
This was my buddies Bruce and John's big day on the charter fishing boat A Salt Weapon captained by Ira Key out of Hopetown Abaco Bahamas and what a day it was.... Dolphin, Wahoo, big Sharks, Lost fish and many bite off due to the sharks which were all over the banks.... just too many and too quick for us today. But Wahoo and Dolphin for dinner tonight on the grill. More later
2014 Hopetown Sport Fishing
Rebekah and I booked the A Salt Weapon fishing charter out of Hopetown, in the Abaco islands of the Bahamas. Prior to this trip, we had trolled for Mahi a few times off the coast of NC, but never had any luck.
The first 5 1/2 minutes show our (very choppy) ride out to the fishing spot and a few minutes of trolling.
Skip to 5:47 for Ashley's Mahi, 9:15 for Bekah's Mahi, or 12:16 for Bekah's Barracuda.

Steve's big wahoo caught on the Bahamian Charter boat A Salt Weapon out of Hopetown, Abaco, Bahamas with Capt. Ira Key. This Bertram is one of the Bahamas finest Sportsfishing boats available for charter in the Northern Bahamas, especially the Abaco region. Capt. Ira is a 17th generation fisherman and loves his work and providing clients with a great day on the great waters he is blessed to fish.

This is Steve fishing on the A Salt Weapon out of Hopetown Abaco Bahamas and catching a small Yellow Fin Tuna with Capt. Ira Key. Just a quick shot to let everyone know there are tunas in Hopetown in February. Loads of Fun and Activities on the old Bahamian Police Boat now a charter boat, hence the very cool name!!!

Monster Goliath Groupers with NFL Linebacker Sam Barrington - 4K
In this episode of BlacktipH, Josh is joined once again by NFL star linebacker Sam Barrington from the Green Bay Packers to go fishing for monster goliath groupers off the coast of Florida. We started off the day catching bonito (false albacore) for bait. After catching half a dozen albies for bait, Sam was ready to start goliath grouper fishing. Sam hooked up to his first goliath grouper and immediately got yanked forward. After an intense short fight, Sam Barrington landed his first goliath grouper. The day ended with Sam catching four goliath groupers. Sam's friends Johan and Richard both caught a goliath grouper, adding up a total of six goliath groupers for the day.
