Kusatsu is a mountain town in the Gunma prefecture in Japan. In the middle of the town is what is called Yubatake (translated to field of hot water). This is hot spring water that comes out of the ground too hot for the local onsen hotels. This hot spring is one of the largest by water output in Japan. The smell of sulfur is all around the square and those minerals are filtered in its wood tracks. There is no train service to this town and many of the roads leading to this town are small and winding.
