Time Lapse Drive - Bangor to Pwllheli North Wales, United Kingdom ~ [HD] ~ GoPro Hero 4 Black
Full HD - This is a rather long drive which has been converted to a Time Lapse video from Bangor to Pwllheli then back towards Caernarfon in North Wales UK... Car being driven is a Vauxhall Omega 3.2i 24v V6 Elite.
It's a rather miserable day in January 2016 with light rain and some wind. Camera mounted on the inside passenger windscreen pointing forward towards the bonnet mainly throughout the video, the main camera being used a GoPro Hero 4 Black Edition...
BigBlueTV Presents:
The Omega was and still is an excellent all rounder especially in it's heyday, A large well built executive saloon with the top of the range model approaching £32,000 back in the day, It's also known by different names/brands across the Globe, Some cars having minor or major differences but at the end of the day these cars share something with the GM made Omega in some way or another....
Australia also had a version of the Omega more commonly known as the Holden Commodore that would be the closest relation to the Omega - In the UK Holden vehicles where badges as Vauxhalls with V8 engines only, The Monaro & VXR8 although the Monaro was a coupe version with a 5.7 V8 in its early form in the UK later getting the 6.0 V8 with the VXR livery, The most obvious characteristics shared with the Omega and Monaro I find are the lines on the side, the doors, and not forgetting the exact door handles off an Omega as are many other aspects of the Monaro I'm sure, While the VXR8 could be called the worthy successor to the Omega with a 6.0/6.2 V8 it never could replace it fully with just one engine, Plus they are rather expensive in comparison. At least they are likely to hold their value well...
The Cadillac Catera / CTS In America although the early CTS mainly shares the Y32SE engine as far as I know the ...no doubt it also shares other aspects of the Omega in some way or another, Also in South America they called the Omega the Chevrolet Omega.
Now probably the most recognized brand of the Omega.. The Opel Omega in Europe apart from the UK where the Omega is more commonly known as the Vauxhall Omega, The predecessor of the Omega was known as the Vauxhall Carlton In the UK although the most notorious model being the legendary once fastest 4-door saloon in the world in the early 1990s the Lotus Carlton.
Also the Omega was known as the Chevrolet Lumina in Middle East.
The biggest engine the Omega was given was the 3.2i 24v V6 - Y32SE - LA3 - 3,175cc Quad Cam producing approximately 218bhp the engine was also found in the early Vauxhall/Opel Vectra C / Signum - Similar Engine 2.6i 24v V6 - Y26SE - LY9 - With approx 178bhp.... Also worth noting the Opel/Vauxhall Omega was assembled in Germany while the V6 engines at least where built in Liverpool, UK.

The Aweomse A4086 in North Wales with GoPro Attached
The A4086 in North Wales runs to the coast past Snowdonia mountain range. It's an awesome road with some amazing twists and turns. The only problem with the A4086 is there's few places to overtake. If you get stuck behind an old person or someone driving some sort of caravan you're in for a pretty boring drive.
