Passengers cheer as drunk woman is dragged off Ryanair flight
A drunk passenger and her partner have been removed from a Stanstead to Fuerteventura flight after she starting shouting at other passengers who tired to calm her down minutes before landing. Her partner had turned to another passenger trying to calm the situation down and apparently said ‘let’s take it outside’ in mid-flight.

Customs UK (Gatwick Airport) - The Gangsta Granny Drug Smuggler
These shows are so addictive to watch! In a sad way, its quite fascinating to see the length that these people go threw just to smuggle in narcotics. I can't imagine what their lives were like before deciding to make this fateful decision. Of course I've heard of Dire Straits but wouldn't it be much easier to just steal a car!?!
Its almost like these drug mules are waiting to get caught red handed. After 9/11, airport security around the world is super tight. Don't they know that?!?!
As crazy as the drug world is, these kingpins aren't that stupid. Only the mules are. One things for sure...If you plan on becoming a mule, NEVER think that you're the only person on that flight with a suitcase full of drugs. Chances are, there's 4 of them on that plane, who are just like you.
The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta
World centre for ballooning, Bristol has become home to Europe's largest hot air balloon festival, the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta.
Founded 40 years ago, the Bristol Balloon Fiesta has a fascinating history. It all began back in 1978 when Don Cameron, owner of the World's largest balloon manufacturer, Cameron Balloons, decided to create an event that would draw together balloonists from around the world.
On the weekend of the 7th-9th September 1979, a small gathering of like-minded balloonists came together to celebrate what was to become the first ever Bristol Balloon Fiesta. Organised by the British Junior Chamber of Commerce and Shipping, the Fiesta was held at the popular ballooning location, Ashton Court.
Spectators witnessed a mass ascent of all 27 balloons attending the Fiesta and marvelled at the many other flights made throughout the weekend. Most balloons came from the West Country, while others came from Ireland, Luxembourg and West Germany.
The Fiesta was financed by sponsorship through local firms and businesses, as well as some national companies. During the Fiesta, sponsors were allocated a balloon used for displaying their advertising banner. Employees of the sponsors were then encouraged to participate with the crewing of the balloon which involved retrieving the balloon as well as going on a flight.
With a total of 117 flights made from Ashton Court, the first Bristol Balloon Fiesta proved to be a roaring success, paving the way for future fiestas.
From this small beginning, the Fiesta has grown year after year, flourishing into what has become Europe's largest hot air balloon festival.
Drunk passenger escorted from Ryanair plane by Portuguese police after abusing passengers and crew
A 'drunk' passenger was escorted down the aisle and bundled off a plane when it landed in Portugal after he was verbally abusive during the flight.
The man, who was said to have been part of a stag party, was seen repeatedly downing what is thought to have been a mixture of vodka and Red Bull before allegedly abusing fellow passengers and the crew.
When the Ryanair flight from Dublin to Faro landed, the passenger was escorted from the jet by Portuguese police on the afternoon of May 2.
In video footage taken by a fellow passenger, officers from the airport police were seen trying to get the man's boarding pass and bag, but he seemed unable to understand what was happening. One officer repeatedly asked him where his bag was and once he located his passport was forcibly ejected from the aircraft.
He repeatedly asked 'what is happening' as another passenger tried to help the officer. It is thought he was part of a large stag group heading to the Algarve for the Bank Holiday weekend.
During the flight he was allegedly abusive to a hen party on the same flight and began arguing with staff when they tried to get him to sit down.
Deborah Martin, a marketing consultant, who was on board the jet flying from Dublin to Faro for the long weekend said the man continued to down alcohol even after the crew tried to make him to stop.
She said: 'As soon as we took off they [the stag group] were drinking. They seemed quite drunk before we even got on the plane. I thought it was whisky, but another passenger told me it was vodka and Red Bull. Many of the other passengers were intimated by the drunken antics and Ms Martin said she feared the plane would be diverted to another airport.
Ms Martin also said Faro, near Albufeira, has become a popular destination for stag and hen parties over the last few years.
She added: 'There was a family with a young boy and another with a disabled girl and they had never seen anything like it.
'There were a lot of people waiting to use the bathroom, it meant the crew couldn't get the trolley out.
'The drunk passengers were trying to buy more alcohol from the crew before they started serving drinks.
'The crew were brilliant, they tried to calm him down and get him to sit quietly.
'But despite the warning he carried on and they had to notify the captain and the police got involved. I thought we were going to have to be diverted.
'It really wasn't a nice experience for anyone else on the plane, it was very intimidating for a lot of passengers, some were clearly frightened.Something really needs to be done to stop people flying again if they keep doing this sort of thing, otherwise it will keep happening.'
Ryanair said the man was 'removed and detained' after becoming disruptive during the flight but did not effect the landing.
A spokesman said: 'This flight from Dublin to Faro (May 2) requested police assistance upon landing after a passenger became disruptive in-flight.
'The aircraft landed normally and police and removed and detained this individual.
'The safety and comfort of our customers, crew and aircraft is our number one priority. This is now a matter for local police.'
Portuguese police said the incident had been reported to the prosecutor at the Court of Faro for a decision on whether to charge the passenger.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Royal Visit Bristol

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have arrived in a snow covered Bristol for a day of royal engagements which will begin with the couple meeting the public in the heart of the city.
The royal couple will also tour the Bristol Old Vic theatre and travel to the Empire Fighting Chance, a charity using boxing to support children failing at school.
There were fears the visit may be called off because of the Arctic conditions, but organisers of the couple's first engagement - a visit to the Old Vic, which is undergoing a multimillion-pound restoration - said they were still expecting the duke and duchess.
A Bristol Old Vic spokeswoman said: We are still going ahead so far, there have been no messages to say otherwise.
The Duke and Duchess will be taken on a guided tour of the revamped theatre, which has been entertaining audiences for more than 250 years.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex brought a touch of warmth to what was a chilly and snowy day in Bristol on Friday. The royal visit to the West Country went ahead despite the Arctic conditions that swept the region; dozens of local schools shut for the day, while Bristol Airport was also closed during the morning. Harry and Meghan braved the cold as they met people from local communities and greeted fans on a walkabout.
For her wintery day out, Meghan wrapped up her baby bump in an Oscar de la Renta dress and a black coat. She and Harry started off the day at the Bristol Old Vic theatre, which is undergoing a multimillion-pound restoration. The Duke and Duchess were taken on a guided tour of the revamped theatre, after which they travelled to Empire Fighting Chance, a charity that uses boxing to support children struggling at school to prevent them from drifting into unemployment.
Harry and Meghan were given a warm welcome outside the Bristol Old Vic theatre. The couple, who were 20 minutes delayed due to the trains, took part in a walkabout before entering the venue, saying hello to the crowds who had waited in the cold. Harry and Meghan had planned to fly but cancelled their plans due to the snow. Despite being bundled up in warm clothing, Meghan still managed to look ultra-chic. She nailed her winter look wearing a black coat and olive green suede boots by Sarah Flint. The Duchess switched up her hairstyle, opting to wear her hair down in loose waves instead of her signature bun. She wore light makeup, letting her natural pregnancy glow do all the talking. The couple spent some time talking to a group of local children from Abbeywood nursery. Meghan greeted them and called over her husband after they asked to see Harry.
Nursery worker India Leachman, 25, said: They (the children) were so excited to see – we've been saying, the Prince and Princess – it's just easier to explain it to them. They were like 'oh my gosh, they're coming, they're coming' and then I gave them biscuits and they had a little giggle party to themselves, so they (Harry and Meghan) just found that so funny.
The children beckoned them over, like 'we're excited to see you', waving their flags and as soon as they came over, they were interested in their biscuits. We were just trying to keep the children all calm.
India added of Harry and Meghan: They were very concerned about keeping them warm. Very happy that we'd come out to see them as well. They looked very interested in all the children and making sure they were warm and thanked them for coming out.

Dramatic moment armed police tackle gang with knives and SHOTGUN
CCTV picked up the gang as they were given the fearsome weapon from contacts in a BMW in the Castle Vale area of Birmingham last year. Armed police flooded the area and, as filmed by officers' body-cameras, they forced two of the gang onto the ground and caught another as he tried to climb over a fence. The sawn-off shotgun, which police say could have further fuelled the city's spiralling violence, was found hidden behind a wheelie bin nearby.

She bought J20 juice to mix with the spirit, the court was told. The half-empty bottle was confiscated. The court was told Allen had already drunk the other half in the departure lounge. The captain then asked crew for Allen's passport details so the incident could be included on his flight report. Allen unleashed a tirade of abuse on a flight from Manchester Airport (pictured) and forced the plane to divert its path to Portugal A member of the crew tried to find the passport in Allen's belongings when she was in the toilet. When she returned, she screamed at the member of staff, calling her a 'f*****g thief'.Allen later went to the galley to complain about a member of crew 'spilling a drink on her jogging bottoms'.She 'singled out' the most senior member of the cabin crew before 'pushing her back' towards one of the aircraft's doors, leaving her 'genuinely in fear'.Allen, who was shouting and swearing, was asked to calm down as there were children on board. Battle Stations - SR-71 Blackbird Stealth Plane -Full Documentary
The Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird (so named for its heat-resistant black paint) first flew in 1964, and since that time it has remained the world's fastest aircraft. Tanks in the inner wings and upper fuselage carry the 80,000 pounds of special, superheated fuel.
Few weapon systems have ever entered the military arena with such blinding superiority as did the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird. No weapon system has ever maintained that same degree of superiority over a period of four decades. Today, the Blackbird is still the fastest, highest-flying, most-effective reconnaissance aircraft in history, even though budgetary considerations have caused it to be withdrawn from active service.
Like the U-2, a product of the U.S. government's super-secret Skunk Works research & development center, the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird is a perfect expression of Kelly Johnson's genius and his leadership of a brilliant team of fewer than 200 engineers.
The USAF's SR-71 was a two-seat development of the earlier A-12 aircraft used by the Central Intelligence Agency. The Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird first flew on December 22, 1964, and by December 1967, all 31 of the Blackbirds had been delivered to the USAF.
The Blackbird was both a miracle of design and of production, for its performance (speed of Mach 3.2, more than 90,000 feet of altitude, a 4,000-mile range) had to overcome not only the sound barrier, but also the heat barrier. Skin temperatures of the craft exceeded 1,050 degrees Fahrenheit. Special fuels, hydraulic fluids, electronics, and glass had to be developed to match the strength of the aircraft's titanium structure.
A Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, flown invariably by a highly skilled crew, became an invulnerable, invaluable reconnaissance aircraft. Unlike satellites in fixed orbits, the SR-71 could be deployed within hours to anywhere in the world.
The usefulness of the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird went beyond military applications to diplomatic roles. During the 1973 Middle East Yom Kippur War, reconnaissance photos taken by the SR-71 determined the positions of the advancing Israeli forces, and were used during subsequent peace negotiations. And as a research instrument, the SR-71 has few peers; although officially retired, Blackbirds are rumored to be occasionally flown -- unofficially -- in NASA research.
Blackbirds set many records for speed and altitude, the last one a transcontinental speed record of less than 68 minutes -- on the delivery flight of a retired SR-71 to the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.

'FIRE-UP' The Evening Sky
The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is held annually in England. Teams from the UK and other parts of the world bring their hot air balloons to the site and participate in mass ascents where as many as 100 balloons may launch at a time.
The event was first held in 1979 and is now one of the largest in Europe. It is common to have crowds of over 100,000 on each of the four days of the festival.[1] It takes place in a large country estate Ashton Court. Mass launches are made twice a day, at 6am and 6pm, subject to weather conditions.
One popular attraction is the night glow, when balloons are inflated and glow to music after dark. These are held on the opening Thursday night at approx 9:30pm, followed by a spectacular fireworks display. There is another night glow at the same time followed by the fireworks on the Saturday night. Some people see these as the highlight of the fiesta.[2]
The balloon makers Cameron Balloons are near to the fiesta site, in Bedminster, and make many of the special shaped balloons, which have included Rupert the Bear, The Scottish Piper, Bertie Bassett, the Tesco Trolley, Stuart the Minion, and the BBC One Balloon. Many shapes have also attended the fiesta from abroad, over the years a UFO and a beaver have travelled from the USA, a kiwi bird from New Zealand, and an upside down balloon from the Netherlands.
In the past, the fiesta used to be held in the second week of September, but due to cancellations of flights and the muddy ground because of bad weather, it has been moved in the start of August. This has had a great effect as more flights manage to fly; cancellations are now normally due to high winds.
The nightglow is one of the most popular parts of the fiesta.
In 2003, the weight of crowds returning from the Balloon Fiesta and Ashton Court festival put such a great strain on the Clifton Suspension Bridge that it was decided to close the bridge to all traffic, including pedestrians, during these events from 2004 onwards.[3]
In recent years, the event has diversified to include small scale air displays, attracting the likes of The Blades, Typhoon display team and the Red Arrows.
On 10 August 2013 they broke a balloon fiesta record after 74 balloons landed in one field near the former Somerdale Factory in Keynsham. [4] The record was then broken a year later, when 90 balloons again landed in the former Cadbury's chocolate factory on 9 August.[5]...
