ABWonderdive is located in the bay of Small Lalaguna near Puerto Galera, Mindoro in the Philippines. It is a 5* Padi Dive Resort which offers diving courses from beginner level to divemaster - the first professional level in Padi. The atmosphere is friendly, fun and surroundings are beautiful. The waters of Puerta Galera offer the largest concentration of marine life species per square meter in the world.

The picture show was produced by a colleugue on request by four girls who made their Open Water Course in May 2009. Bjørn Askholm (Danish), owner and instructor at ABWonderdirve, is teaching the course.

Puerto Galera is a listed by the Club of the Most Beautiful Bays of the World, and is the only bay in the Philippines to be listed there.

Among the famous beaches in Puerto Galera are Sabang Beach and White Beach, which have an active nightlife with numerous bars and restaurants. Both beaches also have an array of first-class and economy-class accommodations.

Sabang beach is the main destination for foreign tourists, while White Beach remains popular with local travelers.Big La Laguna Beach and Small La Laguna Beach are considered part of Sabang with resorts lining the beaches. Big La Laguna Beach is popular for local swimmers and snorkelers. Since 2001 White beach has seen uncontrolled development. New restaurants and places to stay are rapidly encroaching on the beach itself and little remains of the once charming beach. Puerto Galera town is a pleasant but sleepy Philippine town with few attractions. It has a large central catholic church and a Pier area, with a selection of bistros and cafes.

This idyllic spot has long been enjoyed as a get away from it all destination, with its long sand beaches and hidden waterfalls.
Although today its better known for its beautiful clear blue waters, a magnet for scuba divers through out the world congregate here to sample the underwater magic it provides, with reefs, wrecks and drop offs one can easily see why visitors return year after year.

unique way of life can be experienced here as many a traveler can tell you of their friendly adventures in and around the archipelago of Puerto Galera and Sabang.
The simple lives of the natives who still carry on their lives much as they have done for many centuries can still be found near by, Mindoro`s treasures are here in abundance for all to see, a truly wonderful tropical experience

SCUBA DIVING PARADISE: PUERTO GALERA - Philippines Travel Film 2016

This year’s one week vacation to Puerto Galera, Philippines (2h car drive and 1h boat ride away from Manila) was absolutely amazing. A majority of our time spent there was diving. We scuba dived in many different locations but in this video are some of the nicest. Many of the dive sites could be accessed after a 10 minute boat ride from Sabang (with the exception of Tamaraw Reef). Please keep in mind that we are only Open Water certified and are not able to show the deeper dive locations.

This video was filmed from October 4. to October 8. 2016.

Frederick Delk Does Puerto Galera

Frederick Delk and wife visiting Puerto Galera, Sabang beach, Mindoro Oriental. Puerto Galera is a beautiful place with nice beaches and excellent scenery. For a small seaside community Puerto Galera has a great bar scene with several girly bars. There are many Americans, Australians and Europeans living in the town, a nice little retirement haven.
