Wu Chun on his new born baby and becoming a father for the second time
WU CHUN OPENS UP ABOUT NEW BABY
Bruneian actor Wu Chun attended a boutique opening ceremony in Hong Kong on Thursday (7 NOV).
This marks Wu's first public appearance in the city since welcoming a baby boy into his family.
Wu shocked fans and the media in October when he revealed the truth about his personal life.
The 34-year-old heartthrob admitted to being married with a daughter and announced that another baby was on the way.
Previously, Wu had always maintained his single status and threatened to sue when media reports suggested that he secretly married his longtime girlfriend in Brunei.
Shortly after the big announcement, Wu's wife gave birth to their second child in Brunei. Wu shared the good news with fans on his weibo (blog).
At the event in Hong Kong, Wu could hardly contain his excitement about being a father again.
He said he's on diaper duty at home and loves every minute of it.
Although Wu didn't want to reveal the baby's name, he did comment on the child's looks.
People who have seen him say that he looks like me. However, he's still young. Kids change all the time. They'll look different when they turn one or two. It's too early to tell just yet, Wu gushed.
As for the baby's big sister, she couldn't be more proud.
She (daughter) is not jealous at all. She really dotes on him, to the point that's really over the top. My daughter loves babies. Now that we have a newborn, she wants to take care of him, see him, and touch him. Sometimes she's a bit rough, so the baby cries, Wu said.
After coming clean about his personal life, Wu admitted he leads a happier life because he can finally share the truth with fans:
I've always been someone who does whatever is on his mind. After I did it (told the truth about his personal life), I didn't regret it. I won't let negative press affect me. I think I'm lucky, because after I came clean (about being married with kids), everyone around me, fans and the media included, have been supportive of me. That makes me even happier.
When asked about future baby plans, Wu joked about wanting five children. However, for now, he said the most he plans to have is three.
Currently filming a new movie project in Beijing, Wu said that he will head home first to spend time with his family, and then jet off to Japan again for work.
Fellow actors Raymond Lam and Niki Chow also attended the mall event.
