There was no trouble with me filming here last time I filmed here there was no trouble. The reason why I mentioned being busted is because of my aunt. I'd be really careful if you are going to film this elevator I'm very careful about filming. I did push door open to reopen the doors so my cousin can board the elevator but the door wouldn't reopen. Since I couldn't reopen the door my cousin should have pressed the call button and waited until I came back down to get him.
Store Closing Ride: Schindler MT 300A Glass Elevator at Macy's, Northbrook Court, Northbrook, IL
So, I heard that the Northbrook Court Macy's is going to be closing. It will be torn down for redevelopment. I will ride the elevator with you during the store closing sale. It is a Schindler MT, which was installed in 1995. This store originally opened as Marshall Field's. It replaced Sears, which closed in 1983 and JCPenney, which closed in 1992. In 2006, Marshall Field's stores became Macy's, like Hecht's, Famous Barr and others. Like Fox Valley Mall and Hawthorn Mall, this is a glass elevator. You can get views of the store. There is a clock on the glass wall of the elevators. This will mark 24 years of operation. Don't miss your last chance to ride the elevator, before the store closes this summer!
