For nearly 50 years, ASU GAMMAGE has been a cultural oasis in the Valley of the Sun and since its opening in 1964, the FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT designed performing arts center on ASU's Tempe campus has been the HEART OF THE ARTS in our community.
What started as an idea to create a distinct university auditorium, by ASU President Grady Gammage in 1957, has become a WORLD-CLASS ARTS PRESENTING organization and a vital economic engine for the state. In fact, since 2006 ASU Gammage has created more than $300 MILLION OF ECONOMIC IMPACT for Arizona with its Broadway series. ASU Gammage will celebrate its 50th anniversary, Sunday, Sept. 28, with an open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Birthday cake and other refreshments will be served on the hour, and guests will have a chance to enjoy tours of the historic building designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.
The Phantom of the Opera @ ASU Gammage
For over 25 years, The Phantom of the Opera has thrilled audiences across the globe. The show features a new scenic design, special effects and the original Tony Award winning costumes. Phantom will be at ASU Gammage through June 7, 2015.

Arizona's Biggest Dance Class
Hundreds of dancers joined ASU Gammage at Tempe Marketplace for Arizona's Biggest Dance Class. The participants learned the choreography from one of the numbers in the show, and a few lucky dancers won tickets to opening night.

Tech Tours at ASU Gammage
Technical theater students now have a chance to experience what it is like to be a professional Technical Director at ASU Gammage. High school juniors and seniors will have the opportunity to come to ASU Gammage and meet with our Technical Directors, who will then give a top to bottom tour of our historic Frank Lloyd Wright building. On this hands-on tour, students will get a chance to go to places at ASU Gammage where not many have been, work our spotlights, curtains and much more!

So this was my experience of opening for the 2017 ASU Gammage Awards! I won the 2016 awards for being Peter Pan in the musical Peter Pan, so I was invited back to talk about my experience at the Jimmy Awards that took place in New York City, and then they had me sing Never Never Land from Peter Pan!
