Urban Rider Games 2018- ATBShop Skatewarehouse
The biggest event of the year has landed and riders throughout Wiltshire travelled down in the rain to make one seriously epic competition in BMX, Scooter and Skateboard. This years event was definitely the most heated competition ever to go down at ATBShop Skatewarehouse with over 150 spectators lucky enough to see it in all its glory.
But for those of you that couldn't make it the video above highlights a few of its finest moments.
The Urban Rider Games is not just any Skate, Scoot and Bmx competition but an event to help raise awareness for the need of free outdoor skatepark facilities to fuel the progression of younger riders into aspiring and future athletes. The need for these facilities is so vital and yet is often overlooked by local councils and the public resulting in neglect for the younger generations and their future in sports.
This was all started in response to the Oasis Leisure Centre's development plans to which the current skatepark is to be knocked down and replaced with nothing during the development of phase two of Swindon's future Snow Dome.
