Thailand Drone Flight: Thailand is a Southeast Asian country. Its known for tropical beaches, opulent royal palaces, ancient ruins and ornate temples displaying figures of Buddha. In Bangkok, the capital, an ultramodern cityscape rises next to quiet canalside communities and the iconic temples of Wat Arun, Wat Pho and the Emerald Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Kaew). Nearby beach resorts include bustling Pattaya and fashionable Hua Hin. // Vietnam is a Southeast Asian country on the South China Sea known for its beaches, rivers, Buddhist pagodas and bustling cities. Hanoi, the capital, pays homage to the nations iconic Communist-era leader, Ho Chi Minh, via a huge marble mausoleum. Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) has French colonial landmarks, plus Vietnamese War history museums and the Củ Chi tunnels, used by Viet Cong soldiers. Hội An is known for its mix of architectural styles and eras, including the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge. Huế has the massive Citadel, built by the Nguyen Dynasty. The Mekong Delta, a maze of rivers and islands, has floating markets and Khmer pagodas. Junk boat tours and sea kayaking expeditions traverse the calm waters of Hạ Long Bay, home to thousands of towering limestone islands. The beach resorts of Phú Quốc Island, Nha Trang and Mũi Né offer diving, sunbathing and water sports, while the northern mountains around Sapa are a trekking destination. [wikipedia // Google]

Suan Luang Rama 1X Public Park, Nong Bon Sub district, Prawet, Bangkok, Thailand. ( 10 )
Suan Luang Rama IX Park is a large public park on the Eastern outskirts of Bangkok near Bangna. The park opens early in the morning mostly for people to run and use the facilities of the sports centre of this vast park. Entrance fees are very nominal. ( 5 Baht for Thai or 10 Baht for foreigners plus 20 Baht if you park your car there. ) There are plenty of trails to explore through numerous flower gardens. The day I went here there was heavy rain, and walking around a vast park like this is not the best idea for a day out. However when the rain stopped and the sun tried to pop it’s head out from numerous clouds it was more enjoyable. I was then able to take some photos of this beautifully kept park.
In the centre is a pond with duck and swan shaped pedal boats for rent. Often you can find many people feeding the fish here. There is a children's playground, as well as a maze, made of shrubs to run and get lost in. Positioned throughout the park are numerous gazebos to find shade or eat a snack. The Japanese garden is worth seeing also. There are a few huts selling waters and ice cream around the park too, as well as one restaurant. Just outside the gates one can find many other food vendors. One unique feature is the desert house with cacti and other arid plants. Also there is a fern garden and a rose garden.
Suan Luang Rama 1X was constructed with full co-operation from BMA ( Bangkok Metropolitan Administration ) Suan Luang Rama IX Foundation and the public and private sectors as well as Thai people in commemoration of HM the King's 5th Cycle Birthday Anniversary in 1987. Constructed on vacant land of BMA at Nong Bon, where there is the potential to develop a flood control reservoir to store the excess water and release it gradually to the natural water body. This is the method used to solve the flood problem in line with HM the King's Royal initiative.
The park project started in 1984. However, as some pieces of land were under private ownership, the exchange of land took its time but was finally completed after a lengthy delay, some pieces having been donated. Finally, 80 hectares of land were made available for the construction of this city park. The transformation of the vacant lowland filled with holes, grass land and paddy fields into a perfectly beautiful and outstanding park for everyone to enjoy. This magnificent park reflects the power of love, great faith, respect and the harmony of Thai people towards HM the King. Certainly, this great work is a heritage to the next generation of Thai people.
Suan Luang is the largest public park in Bangkok. It consists of six zones: the Homage to His Majesty, the Botanical Garden, the Trapangkaew Reservoir, the Rommaniya Garden, the Sanam Rasdara and the Water Garden. It is a long way down the Soi’s of Sukhumvit, so it's best to take a taxi to get there.
