There is a mosque called Ranguniha رنگوني ها in Abadan آبادان which is built in the late of Qajar قاجار period and early Pahlavi پهلوي period by several workers from Myanmar country (Burma برمه), India, Bangladesh and Pakistan who works in Iran & English Oil Company (Abadan Refinery).
This mosque was built in an architecture style which is fusion of temples architecture of Indian subcontinent and Islamic art. These workers are Muslim From Sunni & Hanafi religion.
In front of this building, there is carvings begins with bismillahirrahmanirrahim (Arabic: In the name of God بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم) and end with mentioning name of four caliphates and the sponsor’s name. decoration of this mosque is much like to stucco except that it is done by cement.
It is noteworthy that there is two air tunnels under mosque building for preventing moisture penetration to foundation of mosque.
One other prominent characteristic of this building is altar made in special style and the geometrical shapes and arabesque motif decorated by different colors and engraved design on altar walls are a symbol of heaven. It is said that some of building material especially the used colors in engraved shapes are supplied from India.
This historic monument is recorded as one of national works in Country’s historic works index with number 2289 in April 9th of 1378. Regarding that this mosque is located in zero point of Iran & Iraq border, it got many damages during the Imposed War but is repaired by Department of Cultural Heritage in 1385.
In June 23th 1388 coincided with third visit of 10th government cabinet, it is launched as museum of historical documents and manuscript. Copies of written Quran قرآن and historical document of Qajar period to first Pahlavi include financial and commercial correspondence of Iranian merchant in India and UK and different promissory note, bills of exchange, letter of micro transaction and commercial letters are kept and displayed.
Ranguniha Mosque is located in Abadan, Imam Khomeini Street خيابان امام خميني, in front of Refinery medical warehouse near Arvandrood اروندرود.

دبستان مهرگان آبادان، میراثی که نادیده گرفته شد
این گزارش را شهروندخبرنگار ایران‌وایر از دبستان مهرگان، آبادان، برای ما تهیه و ارسال کرده است. این شهروند آبادانی در توضیح این گزارش نوشته است: این دبستان سال ۱۳۸۲ با شماره ۸۳۵۸ به ثبت ملی رسیده است. سال گذشته وعده مرمت و تعمیر این مکان تاریخی را دادند اما نه تنها اقدامی نکردند بلکه حریم این دبستان مورد تجاوز ساختمان مجاور قرار گرفته است. زمانی که ساختمان مجاور این دبستان در حال ساخت بود تعدادی از فعالین فرهنگی آبادان با اداره میراث فرهنگی، شهرداری آبادان و سازمان منطقه آزاد نامه‌نگاری کردند اما هیچ تاثیری نداشت.

The Shanbehzadehs Ensemble offers a unique aspect of hypnotic dances and
traditional music from the Persian Gulf and more precisely from the unkown region of
Boushehr.
The main instruments include the Neyanban (Iranian bagpipe), Neyjoti (double flute),
Dammam (dual faced percussion), Zarbetempo (percussion), traditional flute, Senj (local
type of cymbals) and Boogh (horns).
Founded in 1990, this Ensemble directed by Saeid Shanbehzadeh delighted audiences in
Iran, Europe and North America with the hypnotic rhythms and melodies of this amazing
music.
TRADITIONAL MUSIC FROM BOUSHEHR
Boushehr is situated far of the centre of Iran, near the south-west coast of the Persian Gulf.
This city lives at the rythm of a tradition and a culture different from the North, especially from
the region of Teheran.
The history of Boushehr is the symbol of a fishing village which has become a strategic war
area.
Down the centuries, Arabian, African, Indian, Armenian and Jewish populations integrated
the city and participated to the local trade.
The music from the city of Boushehr arose from the unique combination of Persian, Arab,
African and Indian traditions that came together centuries ago in this southern Iranian cultural
crossroad on the Persian Gulf.
This diversity results from the wealth of local traditions in which music plays a vital role in all
aspects of life: religion, work, social events, drama, music therapy and trance.
The traditional musical ensemble of Saied Shanbezadeh is available
for concerts, festivals and workshops.
