安倍川花火大会は昭和28年(1953年）戦争犠牲者の供養と地域活性を
目指して開催されたのが始まりで、2013年に60周年を迎えました。
慰霊と鎮魂、平和への願いがこめられています。個人や家族、商店街、
地元企業の協賛で１万５千発の花火が夜空を明るく照らしました。＾＾感動！

Bike and Hike Japan's Mt Ryuso
Come join me for a pleasant afternoon ride and hike from Shizuoka city to the top of nearby Mt. Ryuso. This particular outing takes us from the busy city to a mist-shrouded peak seemingly removed from the bustle of the Japanese metropolis below. This hike can easily be enjoyed in a day and there are several excellent places to rest and picnic. Expect crowds on the weekends though you will likely enjoy having the mountain to yourself if you pick a weekday for your hike.
My Ryuso is actually two peaks very closely situated to one another. On a clear day Mt. Monjudake (1041m) and Mt. Yakushidake (1051m) are visible from almost any location within Shizuoka city, and provide a backdrop and tantalizing hint at the much higher and more rugged peaks of the Japan Southern Alps beyond. Japanese people have been climbing these mountains for centuries as both peaks are considered holy sites within both the Buddhist and Shinto traditions. The summits can be reached via three separate trails originating from the area around the Abe river (near Gojima village I think), central Shizuoka (at Sengen shrine) and the area between Shizuoka and nearby Shimizu (the route and trail used in this video).

静岡市内の国道1号(東海道：現道)の安倍川付近に、中央線が時間帯で変化するレーンがあります。(日本語字幕・著作権フリーBGM有)
中央線(センターライン)は正午(12時)を境に、静岡駅方向では、午前は2車線・午後は1車線(曜日不問・切替5分前は各1車線)となります。
始終端では「ここから○車線」の表示があり、同区間内は追越し(車線変更)禁止です。
There are the reversible lanes depends on what time you pass, changing the center line, near the Abe river on R1.
In terms of for Shizuoka station, the lane is 2 in the morning, 1 in the afternoon.
You can see the sign of indication, 'From -lane(s)', and you are not allowed to overtake with crossed.

Beachcombing in Japan
Beachcombing is a fun and interesting pastime along the sands at the mouth of the Abe river near Shizuoka City, Japan. This river was notorious in the past for flooding and causing destruction and death in villages along the banks. Accordingly, the dirt, mud and sand beside the river contains many remnants of the past. Most such items are relatively new though some are quite old. Ceramic shards are especially interesting and quite long-lived, taking on new and interesting shapes when smoothed by the tumbling stream and churning waves. The area at the river mouth is an especially good place to search for such treasures, as the sands here are constantly being churned and moved causing new assemblages of debris to become visible with the passing of each high tide. Its fun to stroll this stretch of beach when the water is low in order to examine the days display of sentimental wealth and to ponder at the past history and function of the many curiosities on display.
