On weekends, public holidays and school holidays you can stay in their accommodation overnight. The cabins sleep up to 9 people so it is perfect to 2 families to spend a fun weekend away.
What the ranch is really about though is the horse riding. It is so quirky that they all actually even leave from the 'jailhouse' They have a number of trails that you can enjoy depending on your experience.
Even if you are a beginner rider they will set you up with a suitable horse and you can head out on their relaxed scenic trail ride around their property. Ben jumped on the back of a horse to see whether he could have ever been a real cowboy. Sadly, and quite hilariously, the answer was no.
They also do the highly popular bush and beach horse ride. This takes a couple of hours as you make your way over rolling hills with ocean views and then canter down the beach along the waters edge. And with surfers in the background, this is a horse ride experience not to be missed.

Cape Schank Walking Trails Mornington Peninsula Victoria
Cape Schanck is a large national park with numerous walks around it spectacular cliffs and down to the bay and beaches.
There are a few main walks around Cape Schanck that really capture the essence of what this place is all about.
We did the Cape Walk down the wooden boardwalk to Devils Desk and Pulpit Rock. The beauty of these leaves you feeling like you have just walked on to the set of a Hollywood movie with its perfectly unspoilt magnificence.
There is another spectacular walk to Bushrangers Bay where you could be lucky enough to be the only people there. Take a picnic and stay and enjoy for a few hours because it is a long walk there and back.
Or on a hot day you can walk down the boardwalk to the pristine rock pools where the water is crystal clear and you feel like the first person to have ever been here.
Apart from the crashing waves, this place surrounds you with tranquility and the ultimate unspoilt beauty of nature. There are not many places left today that offer this kind of breathtaking beauty that leaves you speechless in awe of the colours and scenery surrounding you.

Mornington Peninsula Victoria Accommodation & Cape Schanck Lighthouse
The Cape Schanck Lighthouse was built and became operational in 1859. It is one of only 3 fully operational lighthouses in Australia today.
The lighthouse is in the Cape Schanck National Park overlooking Bass Strait.
These days you can stay in one of the 3 cottages the grounds of the lightstation. Depending on how many people you are traveling with, their range of accommodation sleep from 2 to 8 people.
The cottages here are heritage and take you back to the days of the lighthouse keeper. It is accommodation with a difference and the grounds border the cliff overlooking Bass Strait. We stayed in a 3 bedroom cottage with an open fireplace and large living area.
A really appealing aspect of this accommodation is how quiet and peaceful it is there, yet still only a 10 - 15min drive from shops and anything else we needed. My bed was also incredibly comfortable, and the worst thing about our stay was having to get out of the bed in the morning. Each night made for such a comfortable and peaceful sleep.
A walk around the grounds also adds to the atmosphere of the location. The rough and fierce seas of Bass Strait contradict with the stunning raw beauty and quiet seclusion of Cape Schanck. With so many walking trails leading from the grounds you will also have so much to explore.

Vinetrekker Food & Wine Tour Yarra Valley Melbourne Victoria
We spent a day exploring the Mornington Peninsula Vineyards and with over 50 in the region you have a lot of variety to choose from.
This region is also well known for fresh produce and the Main Ridge Dairy is an excellent place to visit to experience this. It is a true farmhouse dairy and they will give you tastings of their goats cheese that is made right there.
We also joined Vinetreeker Food & Wine Tours for a tour of the Yarra Valley. They have a few different tours to choose from and we joined their food, wine and daytour.
This tour started at the Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary where we spent a couple of hours watching kangaroos, koalas and wombats. This put a real unique edge to the winery tour. You don't have to do the wildlife sanctuary though and can just do a full day wine tour if wine is more your interest.
The tour took us around a few of the Yarra Valleys best wineries and one of the highlights of the day is the superb lunch that is included at one of the top vineyards. It was also raining the day that we went which actually really added to the whole atmosphere as we drove around and went in to the cosy vineyards.

Peninsula Hot Springs 10 minute Health Video Compilation - Mornington Peninsula, Victoria Australia
Peninsula Hot Springs are a unique and invigorating experience in the rolling hills of the Mornington Peninsula.
They source the mineral water from natural hot springs 637m below ground. This water comes out at a warm 50°C and then is cooled down to various temperatures between 37°C and 43°C so everyone can find a pool at a temperature that is comfortable for them.
The thermal waters in these pools are also full of minerals and are considered to have healing qualities for the body.
There are over 20 different styles of bathes and pools to choose from and you can even indulge in their private bathing area. We did that with a bottle of bubbly.
They even have a Hamam, Turkish Steam Room, where you can purchase the salts from reception and do the scrub amongst friends, or organise a group and have a therapist teach you what to do.
The bathes make the most of their natural surroundings so you don't feel like you are just walking in to public swimming pools, which a lot of thermal pools can feel like. They also empty the pools at the end of each day and fill them fresh each morning.
The ultimate indulgence though is visiting their Spa Dreaming Centre for any one of their signature treatments. I was taken u to their Arabian marquee (incredible by the way!) and enjoyed a massage, scrub and facial. This is seriously the most amazing day spa experience I have ever had.
They have so many packages to choose from and can organise a bathe and dine package and they can even organise accommodation at a close by hotel for you.
