ACHILLES BAY BEACH - ST. GEORGE'S PARISH - BERMUDA

Achilles Bay is one of my many favorite places in Bermuda. It's easy to find if you ride your moped through St. George and head towards Fort St. Catherine. Before you go up the hill to Fort St. Catherine, turn left and head to the Beach House restaurant. Park your moped behind Beach House and walk down the stairs to get to Achilles Bay. They will server you food and drinks on the beach too! The food and drinks are both excellent and it could not be a friendlier place. There are lots of parrot fish in the area, so snorkeling is a must! Please share and be sure to subscribe to IrixGuy's Adventure Channel ( and enjoy my other Bermuda videos too! While my daughter was sunning on the same beach in Bermuda, a 25 minute walk from downtown St. Georges, I accomplished my beautiful goal of letting the crystal clear waters and pink sand wash over me and even filmed swimming with the help of my waterproof bag. I also visited Fort St. Catherine museum.

TOBACCO BAY BEACH - ST. GEORGE'S PARISH - BERMUDA

BERMUDA
I've been going to Bermuda for several years now and can't get tire of it. Bermuda is a beautiful island. I made this video to show some places to visit in Bermuda: Fort St. Catherine and the beach, Achilles beach, Clearwater beach, Long Bay beach, Tobacco bay beach, John Smith's bay beach, Horseshoe bay beach, Jobson's Cove beach, Elbow beach, Hamilton, Gibbs Hill lighthouse, King's Wharf, Royal Naval Dockyard Town of St. George's and more... Bermuda islands are on the tip of the Bermuda triangle that points to cost of Miami, Poerto Rico and Bermuda islands.

School of fish in Achilles' Bay at St. George's Parish, Bermuda.
Filmed at Achilles' bay in St. George's Parish, Bermuda on August 19th 2015 with a GoPro Hero 3+ Black using the narrow setting. You will notice those slender blue fish at the top, they would circle above the school and take turns diving down into it for food. The school itself looked like an undefined nebulous cloud which would undulate and transform to prevent itself from being touched.
Why Vacation in Bermuda in 4K UltraHD
Cruise Ship & Island Travel Gear & Advice -
Bermuda is an excellent group of small islands to visit! To many people's surprise, it's located off of the east coast of the United States and is not south of Florida in the Caribbean. The preferred method for transportation in Bermuda is motorcycle or scooter. Locals are only allowed to have one car per household and all cars on the islands are very compact in size. The food is excellent and the weather is incredible. The water is so clear and colorful that it looks fake. Definitely eat Bermudian Fish Chowder while in Bermuda and drink a rum swizzle! Confidence in riding a motorcycle or scooter is not a must (there are plenty of taxis) but it's definitely the most exciting and inexpensive way to explore the islands. For about $7 US worth of gas, one should be able to ride from one tip of the island to the other at least once without having to gas up. I strongly suggest renting a scooter from Oleander cycles and stopping everywhere that looks interesting. The locals are friendly and it's a safe place to explore. Some of the most popular spots are Horseshoe Bay, Elbow Beach, Hamilton, St. George's and the Royal Naval Dockyards. I recommend visiting all of these places but some of the less heard of places like Shelly Bay are some of the best spots! Also, be sure to tour the Crystal Caves. Oh and don't forget to wear a shirt while riding a scooter. I wanted to get a little extra tan while riding but was told that it's illegal to ride a motorcycle or scooter in Bermuda with no shirt! Also, for snorkeling or diving, the Constellation & Montana shipwrecks are spectacular! We're not divers but snorkeled over the shipwrecks and could see everything. The Bermudian fried onion rings are excellent too! This video was filmed in 4K UltraHD with a Sony FDR-AX100 camcorder. Intro portion filmed with GoPro HERO4 Black camera.
