Croxteth Park Farm Liverpool
Croxteth Park Farm is a traditional working Victorian Farm set within the grounds of Croxteth Hall and Country Park.
Uniquely located for both local and regionally-based visitors, the Farm is situated only 2 miles from the region’s M57 Motorway that connects with the M62 and M58 to put some 5 million people within a 45 minutes drive of the Farm.
Filmed using the FILMIC PRO App, EXOLENS Wide Angle Lens, DJI OSMO Mobile 2 on an iPhone 7.

Acornfield Plantation ( Spinny Woods ) - Wildlife Genocide.wmv
After concerns were raised about the management policies surrounding Acornfield Plantation, known locally as Spinny Woods, in Kirkby, Merseyside, UK, I visited to make a short film of how the most strange wildlife conservation management practises were in fact destroying the woodland.
As a child and later teenager, I spent most of my free time in this woodland. It was a great wildlife resource, rich in bio-diversity because of non-interference. Myself and friends introduced fish into the pond in the wood and though I never indulged in it, every Spring saw hoardes of kids in the woodland 'egging'/bird nesting. Sure, it wasn't a good thing, but the kids bagged loads of eggs simply because there were loads of nesting birds - Blackbirds, Song Thrushes, Robins, Mallard Ducks, Mooorhens. I knew a tree where a Treecreeper nested every year.
Hundreds of Redwings in winter roosted in the wood as did multitudes of small species like finches and tits. The woods was a warm place offering shelter from biting winter winds.
One day Knowsley Borough Council came along and took control of the habitat and in some 25 years, the woodland has been changed beyond recognition and certainly not for the better. It is a fact that in that time under the control of KMBC, Water Vole and Water Shrew have both become extinct in the woodland ditches as a direct result of irresponsible tree planting. A fauna rich pond home to one of Britain's rarest water beetles is now wildlife sparse, being only 18 ins deep where in the past it was up to 6 ft. No management of the pond has taken place putting at risk the Screech Beetle and amphibian populations.
Now the Council has taken to felling dead trees containing woodpecker nesting holes.
Policy after policy is contrary to the most basic habitat management practise. It is supposed to be a nature reserve, but the very things which made it special enough for its bio-diversity to be recognized has now been destroyed. Parks are for people. Nature reserves are for wildlife. KMBC is turning Spinny woods into a park by stealth; its wildlife is secondary to appeasing the People.
It is a disgrace. Those who devised the so-called management plan for the woodland are not fit for purpose. The wildlife has been sold out at every opportunity.
