Trigenics myoneural medicine is a revolutionary neurological treatment system which resets the way the brain communicates with the muscles in the spine. Before you are put on our decompression machine, you will undergo a neurokinetic biomechanical examination which will map out exactly which spinal muscles are in spasm, overly tight or inhibited and weak. We will then use Trigenics myoneural treatment to reset these important muscles to their normal firing pattern thereby helping to restore proper spinal movement and function. This is critically important for sustainable results.
Research shows that Digital Disc Decompression Therapy with EMG biofeedback effectively enhances the healing process and provides pain relief and functional movement which enable most patients to regain their quality of life and return to active and productive living.
With Digital Disc Decompression, your patients can now receive scientifically proven, effective treatment for disabling low back, neck, radiating leg & arm pain, and headaches. Digital Decompression effectively relieves pain associated with disc hernia ion, degenerative discs, posterior facet syndromes, and muscle spasms by reducing the compressive pressure on spinal discs, nerves and facet joints. The decompressive effect is created by doctor-programmed, computerized, digitally-modulated disc distraction and positioning.
At the Trigenics Physio-Rehab Treatment Centre / Spinal Decompression Centre, your patient will receive the best care possible using the most advanced treatment methods and rehabilitation equipment. Our Digital Disc Decompression Device may also utilize Electromyography (EMG) readings of target area spinal muscle activity during the treatment which are recorded and monitored. The EMG activity is displayed to the patient who is then able to monitor and modify their own muscle activity neurologically. In this way, the patient is provided with a means to retrain their spinal musculature to be less contracted and more relaxed. This is referred to as biofeedback retraining. EMG Biofeedback retraining during decompression treatment is important as remaining chronic muscle spasm associated with disc conditions may otherwise cause some immediate recompression of nerves and discs following treatment. If this occurs, it can actually cause a worsening of the condition! The Trigenics Treatment Centre is one of the only clinics which provide you with advanced Digital Disc Decompression with EMG biofeedback.
In addition to Digital Disc Decompression, treatment methods at our centre can also include multidisciplinary combinations of Osteopathic Medicine, Chiropractic care, Acupuncture, Physiotherapy, and exercise rehabilitation.
Our Goal is to ensure that your patient becomes pain free within as few short weeks of their first visit and to then teach them how to keep themselves free from pain thereafter.

Outline from Dr. Kris Dorken in Video:
As a chiropractor my focus, primarily, is looking at how the body heals and the bones that make up the spine, the vertibre. What their job is ultimately, to protect the spinal cord and nerves. So when we look at it, as a whole, we want to be able to have it moving and working in a certain way.
What we do when people come in is we do a really detailed comprehensive history looking at their posture, looking at their weight distribution, doing some orthopedic tests, doing different ranges of motion, doing different neurological tests.
I graduated in 2007, at that time I felt like even though I had all that school, what I did was moved to different cities across Canada and I worked at offices that were quite busy so I was able to see literally thousands of different patients and thousands of different problems that people presented with and gained a lifetime of experience over a couple of years before I started my own practice.
When you come in to the office you'll see that it's really a community environment and we've set it up that way and we've made it so that it's an open space where people can do these different exercises before their adjustment and after their adjustment.
We offer a very gentle effective technique based on getting motion within the spine. It works in conjunction with all the other aspects of the rehabilitation that we offer through the office.
So when people come in we have a detailed wellness program for them that focuses on exercises before and after the adjustment as well as different aspects of nutrition that literally revitalizes our patients.
What I focus on is being able to release interferences creating pressure at different areas of the body and ultimately your body is going to heal itself.
Because what controls the healing is how your nerves are going to feed and heal different areas of your body. And so when we take pressure off, your body is going to heal, it's that simple.

IV Vitamin Therapy Toronto
IV Vitamin Therapy Toronto - - Know more about what a vitamin infusion is.
A vitamin iv drip is a form of alternative therapy given via the intravenous route and is mostly offered in wellness clinics. It is often recommended for patients with respiratory conditions such as COPD or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and Fibromyalgia just to mention a few.
If you want to know more about vitamin therapies, read on.
Brief history:
John Myers, MD is the pioneer of this type of treatment which started in the 1960's. The iv drip called Myers Cocktail is known for its energy boosting effects and was named after him.
Why is vitamin infusion therapy needed?
People get an infusion of vitamins and minerals for various reasons. Its primary purpose is to help patients recover from illnesses. However, many benefits have been seen other than addressing medical conditions. Celebrities such as the likes of Ruby Rose and Rihanna used them to cope with their long and very hectic schedules. For others, vitamin iv drips acts as a pick me up, an energy booster, a way to recover from hangover, and also as a detoxifying agent.
Where can you get it?
Here are some important tips when choosing a Toronto vitamin infusion clinic:
- have professional and friendly staff that is ready to assist you with your needs
- have a licensed and board-certified IV therapy practitioner, preferably a Naturopathic Doctor
- have a clinic with parking space, comfortable lounge chairs, and a quiet and relaxing environment
How is iv vitamin drip given?
Before the treatment begins, mandatory blood testing and complete health history and checkup are done first so your doctor can decide what type of IV cocktail can benefit you best. A patient consent form may also be required.
When the needle is inserted, you may feel a bee sting-like pinch. Treatment duration varies from clinic to clinic and the type of IV formula being administered. The shortest takes about 20-30 minutes, but most formulas take 60-90 minutes. A high-dose vitamin C IV may take 2-4 hours. Contact your service provider first to be sure.

At Dr. Amauri Wellness Centre, here are some of our popular IV vitamin treatments:
Neurorejuvenation - for better mental wellness and clarity
Neurorecovery - ideal method for alcohol and drug detox
Cancer Support: High Vitamin C - help fight tumors and reduce the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation
Super Virus Fighter - shortens the duration of illness and boosts immune function
The Detoxifier - draws out toxins and heavy metals, including mercury and lead
Myers Cocktail - for overall wellness and keeping your body in balance
The After Party - IV therapy for a hangover
Things to keep in mind before your iv therapy appointment:
- Keep yourself hydrated by drinking lots of water. Dehydration causes your veins to hide and become less palpable which will make the insertion of needle difficult.
- You must eat something and do not come to the clinic on an empty stomach.
- Be active by moving around before your appointment. Increased movement helps dilate your vessels and facilitate easy insertion. Tip: park a few blocks away and walk over to the clinic.
- Do not take antihistamines and decongestants. They have a constricting effect on your blood vessels.
- During the treatment, do some deep breathing exercises to help you relax. Try five deep belly breaths like this:
● Place one hand over your chest and one over your belly.
● Watch your belly hand expand outward with each breath.
● If your belly hand isn’t expanding outward and your chest hand is rising instead, focus on your belly expanding outward as you breathe in.

Toronto Actress speaks of benefits with therapy from Oshawa Chiropractor!
So my name is Cai Gallant and I've been with Dr. Shariff for about 8 or 9 years now. I originally started coming because I was into dancing and singing, and I was experiencing a lot of pain every day from the moment I woke up to until I went to bed. It just never stopped. And I was too young to be having these problems, I've been having them since I hit
puberty. I originally started coming here for just massage therapy, recommended by my doctor, and then they had recommended me to come in and see Dr. Shariff. And ever since then I've been having such great experiences, I'm back into dancing now. When I actually had quit, prior to coming here. And it's just been a great experience.

Yoga Moves: Reduce foot injury with Fleet Feet exercise

Practice the dancers' Fleet Feet exercise: Yoga Moves
This gentle stretch increases ankle mobility and keeps you light on your feet.
Ankle sprains are among the most common injuries for dancers, athletes and fitness buffs.
We met Corps de Ballet member Erika Delponte at the Walter Carsen Centre for The National Ballet of Canada to run through a gentle ankle exercise called Fleet Feet. This rehab/prehab practice stretches the muscles of the posterior leg, increases ankle mobility, and builds proprioceptive awareness to keep you light on your feet as you work and play.
1. Clear some space around your yoga mat and come down to a reclining position on your back.
2. Bend your right knee, bring it close to the chest, and clasp your hands firmly behind your right thigh.
3. Press your right foot skyward until your leg is straight and you feel a rich stretch beneath your hands. If your arms don’t quite reach, use a towel to hold the leg like a sling.
4. Without bending your leg, alternately point your toes like a ballerina and flex at the ankle as you spread your toes and pull them back. Repeat five times, taking care to move methodically as you keep your lower leg, ankle and foot in one clean line.
5. Now circle your ankle and foot five times in a clockwise direction before circling five times in the opposite direction. Use your eyes to help keep your movements slow, deep and precise.
6. Rest for a moment before repeating on the other side.
R.I.C.E or M.E.A.T?
Do you treat ankle sprains with R.I.C.E. (rest, ice, compression and elevation), M.E.A.T. (movement, exercise, analgesics and treatment) or both? It has been suggested that muscle injuries may respond well to R.I.C.E., as it prevents excess swelling and tissue damage in the long run. M.E.A.T., on the other hand, may better serve the healing of ligament injuries because it increases blood flow and collagen formation.
