Cães surfistas na Ericeira

O primeiro campeonato nacional de surf para cães juntou este sábado dez participantes e muito público na praia da Ericeira, Mafra, com o objetivo de recolher donativos para associações de animais.
Ana Valente, da organização, disse que a Associação Chão dos Bichos, de Loures, foi a sorteada, para receber todos os fundos que conseguirem realizar com o evento.
«As inscrições dos dez cães não representam muito dinheiro para a associação, mas vamos recolher mais donativos, por exemplo com a venda de fotos», explicou.
Com a praia do Matadouro repleta de público, dez cães mostraram as proezas dentro de água e surpreenderam nesta primeira edição do campeonato nacional de cães surfistas, organizado por uma marca de acessórios para animais de companhia.
Black e Sara, os primeiros quatro patas a entrar dentro de água, mostraram não só a capacidade de surfarem várias ondas, como de se manterem em cima da prancha, critérios pontuáveis pelo júri da prova.
A ideia surgiu de provas idênticas realizadas nos Estados Unidos da América e, segundo a organização, está para ficar para ficar em Portugal dada a adesão de público e de animais à Ericeira, a única Reserva Mundial de Surf no país.
Apesar do objetivo social da iniciativa, os vencedores receberam prémios de participação.

Fünf Fahrminuten und du bist an einem der schönsten Surfstrände Europas, São Julião. Nochmal 40 Minuten dazu und du bist in einer der schönsten Metropolen Europas, Lissabon. Aber bei uns steht das Surfen im Mittelpunkt. In zehn Gehminuten bist du am Strand und kannst dort in vielen verschiedenen Kursen, egal ob Anfänger oder Intermediate alles Notwendige erlernen.
Das Surfhaus in Ericeira hat allen notwendigen Komfort; eine Lounge zum gemeinsamen chillen, einen malerischen Garten mit vorgelagerter Terrasse und natürlich einen Pool, falls Salzwasser nicht so dein Ding ist. Auch für andere Sportätigkeiten ist gesorgt; Slacklinen oder Poolbillard sind auch im Haus vorhanden. Wenn du möchtest kannst du deine Zeit auch im Wlan verbringen.
Für deine Verpflegung ist ebenfalls gesorgt. Jeden Morgen gibt es ein reichhaltiges Frühstück und in der Gemeinschaftsküche kannst du alle möglichen Speisen selbst zubereiten.
Ericeira ist ein Evergreen unter den Surfspots in Europa. Das kleine Fischerstädtchen wurde nicht umsonst 2011 zum ersten Surfreservat Europas gekürt. Aber auch abseits der Surfkultur hat Ericeira viel zu bieten. Die Restaurants, Cafes und Shops laden zum stöbern, flanieren und kaufen ein. Solltest du Surfutensilien benötigen, findest du alles im anliegenden Surfshop.
Feiern gehen ist möglich und geht tatsächlich besonders gut in den vielen Bars und Clubs. Falls die Abendgestaltung eher auf das Party machen aus ist, dürfte es hier keine Probleme geben.
Den kosmopolitschen Charme kannst du ebenfalls in deinem portugiesischen Traumurlaub spüren. Lissabon liegt gerade einmal 30 Minuten entfernt und das San Francisco Europas ist immer eine Reise wert.
