Wisla Hill - preparation for the Ski Jumping season opener
The 2017/2018 season opening for the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup takes place in Wisla. On November 17. the Qualification will take place, competitions on 18. and 19.th November. The snow for covering the hill is produced although it is outside 20°C. The stadium is already sold out, the interest is huge. We have visited the Wisla hill in wonderful autumn colors mid of October.

Four Hills Tournament ended in dramatic fashion in Bischoshofen and the Men's World Cup is heading to Wisla. Thousand and thousand of Polish fans will greet Kamil Stoch as new Vierschanzentournee King arrive back home to compete in two Large Hill events. Sara Takanashi looks unstoppable after crushing the field in both HS 137 contests in Oberstdorf. The 20-year-old from Far East will aim for another double on the home soil of Sapporo.

Men’s Ski Jumping World Cup kicks off in Wisla | FIS Ski Jumping
It will be one of the biggest sport events in the history of Polish Ski Jumping with the opening stage slated to take place the upcoming weekend at Wisla-Malinka’s Adam Małysz Hill. A Team LH competition is planned on Saturday, with the Individual competition scheduled the following day.

Kamil Stoch leaves a big mark on his home soil by winning his second consecutive LH event ahead of Norway's Tande and Slovenian teen sensation Domen Prevc. Stoch is also the first jumper from Poland to win three straight World Cup events since Adam Malysz in March 2007.

Adam Malysz Biography - Ski Jumper
Adam Henryk Małysz (born 3 December 1977) is a Polish former ski jumper. The most important of Małysz's successes are 4 individual Olympic Games medals (from Salt Lake City and Vancouver), 4 individual World Championships gold medals (all-time record), 4 individual World Cup titles (all-time record shared with Matti Nykänen), 39 individual competition wins and 92 podiums in total. He is one of the most successful ski jumpers in the history of the sport and currently a rally racing driver.
After concluding his ski-jumping career in 2011 he appeared in the Dakar Rally in 2012, 2013 and 2014 reaching 37,15 and 13 respectively.
