Surfing in the North East of England (iPhone Film)
Here's a short film I shot about the surfing community in Hartlepool in the North East of England. It was all shot on iPhone and I followed a surfer called Elliott.
The film was commissioned by Tees Valley Arts on behalf of GREAT PLACE.
The films all had to be shot on mobile devices and edited using mobile devices. I used an iPhone 7 Plus, Filmic Pro and Adobe Rush to Edit the film.

The lads at Shore Surf School in Godrevy, Cornwall wanted a short film that captured the essence of learning this fun and exciting sport. Filmed over the course of one special day at Godrevy with perfect conditions, and the sea full of learners and experienced surfers.
Surfing in Cornwall 2016!
This video is of Adam and his support team surfing in Cornwall. Adam loves surfing! And... Adam composed his own backing music to accompany the video with his music therapist. Adam played the harmonica, some keyboard and of course his voice. He chose all the sounds and beats himself. Great job Adam!

In July 2017 a group of university friends & I went for a weekend to Newquay, in Cornwall, and attempted surf on Fistral Beach. There was a small swell, about 4 foot. We were not good at surfing.

Leven
“Leven” by Wave Junkie Photography
Early to mid March saw some of the best swell of the winter hit the South Coast of Cornwall. Leven is compiled from footage gathered over three days at one of the UK's most photographed waves.
Most videos filmed here follow one or two surfers but I wanted to make all of the wave riders at Leven the subject as the quality of surfing at this spot on any given day rivals anywhere else in Cornwall by a mile.
Ollie Adams, Ben Skinner and Stokesy make an appearance but ultimately this video is for the “unknowns” that tear this place apart.
