Ghost Tour - Old Tailem Town - ghostly scratches and footsteps?
adelaidehauntedhorizons.com.au
This was one of a handful of tours at Tailem Town that really stick out in our minds. The video doesn't show quite the impact of the sounds of someobdy coming in the Church but, when there it was pretty loud and clear as you can see from the reactions of the people. The scratches were also most unusual as we were witnessing the welts coming up as we watched. Again flash photography at night does not show them as clearly as we were seeing them.
Please note we are not claiming this is definitely paranormal we leave that for you to decide. It definitely went down in our very 'intriguing and curious books' though! lol
Adelaide Gaol Paranormal Investigation Tour - Haunted Horizons
Warning... couple of expletives. This was a fantastic tour with fantastic people. We had a few interesting things happen so we thought we would put them in a video as a momento of the night. We can not prove it was paranormal, as Haunted Horizons is not about serious research, but it was curious. We hope you enjoy it for what it is.

Most haunted town in South Australia - Old Tailem Town - Channel 9 News
Where is the most haunted town in Australia?
Well Tailem Town would proudly be putting up it's hand and not just from 'say so' but from the amount of activity gathered over the last 6 years of investigating there.
Channel 9 News visited us to investigate these claims.
People are having problems finding this video so I am putting it up here for easy access.
Tailem Town is around 90 km South of Adelaide and although reputed to be haunted before we researched it... it has still been a challenging and unexpectedly VERY active location. Channel 9 approached us to see if we had any footage... we did but we only gave them the older stuff. We have more, we have better... but we only show it on the tours. Why? Because there is a fine line between scaring people off and bringing them!
This is just a small example from what has fast become known as the most haunted town in South Australia.
Tours run every Saturday with a 2hr Ghost Tour or a 4hr Ghost Hunt.
Haunted Horizons were named 'Best Tour Operator' in South Australia for 2015 in the S.A. Tourism Awards and finalist in the Australian Tourism Awards. That is something to be proud of... and it is a reassurance of a quality tour for you all :)
S6E7 Alison Oborn Interview 'Adelaide's Haunted Horizons Ghost Tours'
Alison Oborn from Adelaide, South Australia, is the owner and lead investigator of a very renowned ghost tour.
Paul Bradford - Ghost Hunters International, reviews Haunted Horizons
As we wave GHI's Paul Bradford off and wish him a safe flight home, we just want to thank him for coming down and embracing us all in South Australia. What a gentleman and fun person he was to be around, and I am sure those that worked with him for the 3 investigations, would agree. Despite jet lag, homesickness and extreme tiredness, he still soldiered on to make sure we all had a great time. Hopefully Paul... the 'Beef & Guiness Pie & Dirty Granny' from Verve Marion made up for our inferior Wifi in Adelaide! I look forward to our paths crossing once more in the future. Thank you! :)
Haunted Horizons Ghost Tours - 2014 Outtakes and Bloopers
Most who know us at Haunted Horizons and have come on our tours, know that although we take the work very seriously... not so much ourselves. It is the fun moments and gaffs behind the scenes that help make the job so enjoyable. It is a pleasure to work with our guides and even more so to be able to call them my friends. Here are a few of those moments from 2014.
Old Adelaide Gaol Ghost Tour Review
Is the award winning Adelaide Gaol Ghost Tour worth doing with Haunted Horizons? Well hear what our guests have to say.
The Adelaide Gaol won't release all of her secrets in a two hour ghost tour. As the official investigators it took us over a decade to gather our evidence and stories. We will though, take you on a journey through some of what hides behind her walls and hopefully you can take home a ghost story of your own!
Named best tour operator of S.A. 2015 in the S.A. Tourism Awards and finalist in the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards... you can trust you are in the best hands to guide you around :)
Paracon Australia 2016 - Alison Oborn from Haunted Horizons
Breaking the sad news to our guides, that I will be gone for several days and they will have to cope on their own.
I will be off to Paracon Australia as a speaker... and how excited am I. Such an awesome weekend whether speaking or not... so don't miss it!

Haunted Horizons Ghost Tours - Outtakes 2012
As Haunted Horizons Tours have grown over the past year, so has the fun, especially behind the scenes. We thought we would celebrate the year of 2012 by taking a glimpse of this. Hopefully it shows how special our guides are and how their sense of fun and hard work really make Haunted Horizons what it is today. Here's to another year of fun ahead with these guys :)
Ghost and Paranormal Happenings at Tailem Town Ghost Tours
adelaidehauntedhorizons.com.au
Here's another video I threw together as a diary for one of the nights at Tailem Town. This is put together more for the people who attended on the night. This night appeared to be exceptionally active. It started with battery drainage on voice recorders, IR lights and even the camera itself, all at the same. It was followed by people getting touched, getting emotional and finally another person scratched in the Church.
PLEASE NOTE: What is put here is NOT being put forward as hard evidence that the paranormal exists. Adelaide's Haunted Horizons is not about scientifically researching but about giving people the opportunity to maybe experience something unusual and have fun at the same time.
Also PLEASE NOTE: This does not hapen like this all the time... this was one of the exceptional nights :)

The Adelaide Gaol - Sunrise
Channel 7 came to do their weather segments for Sunrise from the Adelaide Gaol. It was a great look at one of the oldest historic buildings in South Australia.
Haunted Asylum - Z Ward Ghost Whistles back with EVP
Z Ward, was once known as the 'Criminal Mental Defective' ward of Parkside Lunatic Asylum or Glenside Hospital as it became known. It was shut down in 1973 and only recently, after being privately bought, was opened to the public. Since then we have had startling encounters and experiences that are often challanging... and that includes for the guides! Here is curious happening on one of our investigation tours.
The people you see are the only people on site. We were trying an EVP burst which is where we ask questions, leave a gap and then replay to see if we have any hidden voices we didn't hear at the time. We did appear to get one, but not before we tried to get whoever was to whistle back to us.
Was it paranormal, who knows but we couldn't find anything to account for the sounds heard and it was well timed. We put these up as a memory for our guests and for those who enjoy such mysteries of life.
