Tapleys Hill Road is a major arterial road in the western suburbs of Adelaide, Australia.Tapleys Hill Road passes through the City of Port Adelaide Enfield, City of Charles Sturt, City of West Torrens and City of Holdfast Bay. Places of interest located on Tapleys Hill Road include Royal Adelaide Golf Course, Adelaide Shores Golf Park and Harbour Town. Prior to an upgrade in the 1990s, Tapleys Hill Road's southern end was joined to Anzac Highway about 100 metres to the west of where it currently lays. The upgrade involved re-aligning the roadway, and taking Tapleys Hill Road to Brighton Road's northern end, removing congestion in a busy area. The old roadway still exists, now named as Old Tapleys Hill Road, and is rarely used as a through route, servicing mainly residents of the area. Route A15 has its northern end at Port Road and includes Tapleys Hill Road. It continues past the southern end of Tapleys Hill Road on Brighton Road, then Ocean Boulevard, Lonsdale Road and Dyson Road. It continues through Port Noarlunga on parts of Murray Road, Gawler Street, Gray Street, Saltfleet Street and Commercial Road. Tapleys Hill is located west of Flagstaff Road and east of Main South Road on the boundary of the suburbs of O'Halloran Hill and Flagstaff Hill, near the Victoria Hotel . The hill was named for Thomas Tapley , who arrived in South Australia aboard the Rajahstan in November 1838 and took up land in that location. The hill is the source of the name for Tapleys Hill Road. The road forms the initial half of the traditional route from Port Adelaide to Tapley's Hill, the remainder of the traditional route, from Glenelg onwards, being via Diagonal Road and since-altered local roads up the hill from Darlington.

Follow me as I take on the Mega Aerial Adventure Park in Adelaide Shores. A 26-metre-high structure with 50 aerial crossings – rope bridges, beams, swings etc. We are all harnessed in – so if we fall we can climb right back on.

Cycle ride from Henley Beach to Grange Beach, nr Adelaide

Cycle ride from West Beach to Grange Jetty via Henley Beach.
I had ridden from North Adelaide along the cycle path that follows the Torrens River.
The local council provided an escort of diesel powered tractor belching noise and fumes as it raced along the beach for mile after mile. It was complete with flashing beacon. Goodness knows what it was doing on the beach other than spoiling the view.
I had a slow puncture on the rear tyre and it eventually went flat. I cycled on the flat tyre to a bike sbop and got a new tube fitted. You can see a map of my trip (with stats) at f1charts.com/henley.jpg

Redesigned by Mike Clayton in 2001, the West Course at The Grange Golf Club is a beautifully structured links in what one might observe as a very traditional style.

Eighteen new greens and a new and vastly improved bunker plan, many of which give way to sandy indigenous wastes that form natural playing hazards, gives this course a sense maturity, stature, charm and elegance.

Strategically, the West Course embodies all of the elements of the great classic links courses. Mature wooded areas that combine with fairway bunkers often narrowing at the landing areas and greenside, often luring the long hitter left or right, when an iron may be the more sensible positioning option for the approach.

This is a great course, that like so many classic links, presents some of the most difficult finishing holes in championship golf. It has been my privilege to film this wonderful course.....please enjoy our presentation!
