HOTEL REVIEW:
INTRO | The Sakala Resort Bali is a 5 star resort located in Tanjong Benoa area, the southeastern coast of Bali. The area is famous for its various water sports activities.
CHECK IN | The check in was speedy but i did not receive any hot towel and welcome drink upon check in despite having booked on the top category of their suites. I believe that is very basic first impression in 5 star resort nowadays.
GUEST ROOM | The two bedroom suites are located on the highest level of the hotel building. They brand this room as their top suite category. The Master bedroom is kind bedded with ensuite luxurious marble bathroom with deep soak bath up and rain shower, whereas the second bedroom is twin bedded with ensuite bathroom with rain shower.
LIVING & DINING ROOM | The living room is spacious. there are sofa bed and LED TV with BOSE stereo speakers. The dining room is adjacent to the living room and includes small kitchenette and coffee or espresso maker.
THE RESTAURANT | The restaurant is nicely designed with many wood panel dominate the ambiance. Buffet breakfast spread is good with local, Asian and International cuisines.
BOTTOM LINE | It is a great suites experience in The Sakala Resort Bali. The suite is indeed fantastic with a spacious 135sqm of living space. However, the staff are not really up to standard in my opinion. They tend to be racist especially to local and Asian guests, but extremely nice to the Caucasian guests.
