Aazhimala is a beach near to Kovalam. It is a very quiet beach. It is around 20 km from Thiruvananthapuram city. Aazhimala is known for the Ayurvedic resorts. There is a temple in the name of Aazhimala, the deity is Lord Siva. The temple is very near to the beach. Since the beach can be viwed from the hill top, the name came to be Azhimala, Aazhi means 'the sea' and Mala the hill. One will never forget the view of setting sun from this calm shore. If we compare the heavenly beauty of the beach, there are really some unique attractions which extremely differentiate Aazhimala from other tourist beaches. One of the most amazing attraction is its seasonal visual change.If you comes to visit the beach during the tourist season, that is January to May, there will be a long sandy beach with wide area of about 100 to 300 meter in width between sea and the actual shore land.
Admilathura Beach | Beauty of Kerala
Adimalathura located in Trivandrum, Kerala, India. Which is one of the most beautiful Eco friendly beach in Kerala.
Adimalathura is hardly 1 km in length and half km in width. It is bordered by the Karichal lake in the eastern side, the Chowara hills in the north, rocks vanishing into the Arabian sea in the south and west. It languishes under the green canopy formed by coconut palms. A marvellous sight from anywhere.
