Praia da Adraga is a North Atlantic beach in Portugal, near to the town of Almoçageme, Sintra. It has been recommended in British newspapers. It is a Blue Flag beach with access for handicapped persons, It has an excellent restaurant and a very good emergency service system, although it is hard to reach by public transportation. Because of its beauty it has been the subject of many photographs and many blogs.

Overview of the Fojo Cave and Adraga Beach, Sintra Portugal 4k

Tourist Attractions in Portugal. Near the beach, at the top of the cliff, there is a cave in the form of a Trap (Gruta do Fojo) well, which arose as a result of the movement of volcanic rocks and exposure to rainwater, combined with the activity of the waves. You can get here on foot or by car (see map). From here, unique views of Cape Roca open. The huge hole of the cave is surrounded by a small fence.
Rumor has it that the Romans believed that at the bottom of the cave (about 90 meters) was the shell of Triton.
