2012/07/29 - With winter being the rainy season in Cape Town, perfect dive days are few and far in between. This was one of them! We did two dives this day, of which the boat dive at Pyramid Rocks was the first. It was a 35 minute dive in total, but I tried to trim it as short as possible for the upload. Shot 100% on my GoPro HD Hero in a Dive Housing.

Justin's Caves is consists of a series of swim through tunnels below an out crop of granite boulders about 120 meters offshore from the Ouderkraal region of Cape town, between Camps Bay and Hout Bay. It's usually done as a shore dive and the Entry point is usually done as a shore dive. I accompanied a few members of the OMSAC dive club here last December, but I've been diving around here for over 7 years.
*Never enter and underwater overhead environment without proper training, it can be extremely dangerous!

Justin's Caves consiste en una serie de nadar a través de túneles debajo de un cultivo de rocas de granito a unos 120 metros de la costa de la región de Ouderkraal, en Ciudad del Cabo, entre Camps Bay y Hout Bay. The Two Oceans Aquarium (open 365 days a year) provides a fascinating and close-up glimpse below the surface of the oceans that surround the South African coastline. Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of the Two Oceans Aquarium where the oceans come alive in magnificent colours and a variety of shapes and sizes. Visitors, both young and old, are introduced to the incredible range of fish and other amazing creatures that call these waters their home. Check when the animal feeding times are, visit the predator exhibit, the astonishing kelp forest and the penguin exhibit. Scuba diving in Cape Town is nothing short of phenomenal. The abundance of aquatic life is unbelievable and is incredibly specific to our ocean. One video is never enough to portray what we experience diving in these waters so keep an eye out for more videos coming in the future!

MV Antipolis - Diving Cape Town
The tankers Romelia and Antipolis were under tow on 28th July 1977 during a north westerly gale when the tow cable to the Antipolis snagged on the sea bed. In the ensuing confusion the cables broke and the two ships were driven aground by the wind. The Antipolis ran aground at Oudekraal and was later cut down to water level.

Seven Gill Cow Shark Dive in Cape Town - Adrenalised Diving
Misunderstood, Mistreated and heading for extinction with over a 100million sharks a year being killed for their fins. This a short clip of our dives with the Seven Gill Cow Sharks in Rumly Bay, one of the most unique diving experiences in Cape Town. Hopefully with more experiences like this we can help change peoples perspectives regarding sharks and it will help with the bigger picture of protecting them and ocean conservation as a whole.

Seal diving in Cape Town
We were diving from Houtbay in Cape Town with the African Fur Seal and had a blast but the water was freezing. Unlimited dive time until 20bar we finished our dive after an Hour and 120bar.One of the best things i have ever experienced totally frozen on the boat we got a tank full of hot water over us and in our wetsuits.Best Idea ever!!!
