Jordan Travel Video: Petra Amman Dead Sea Luxury Travel Vlog 2016
Intercontinental Hotel Review (Amman, Jordan)
Join me as I explore Amman, Petra, Dead Sea and Aqaba on my epic adventure in Jordan.
One of the main reasons that I visit many of the places that I do, is simply because I don't know much about them. I'm intrigued by the unknown and always looking for something new and refreshing that will help me see the world in a different way.
About a year ago I came up with the idea to visit Jordan. I flew there with Royal Jordanian Airways Business Class. Once I arrived in Amman, I quickly headed to the Dead Sea and stayed at the Movenpick Dead Sea Resort. After this, I returned to Amman where I stayed at the Intercontinental Amman. From there it was time to visit Petra. Petra is the oldest and most well preserved ruins in the world. It dates back over 2000 years and is just mind blowing! The pictures are great but being there really makes it so much more incredible.
The good thing about Jordan is that it is quite secluded from the volatility in the region. Sure they have crime like anywhere else. However overall, it's quite a safe country. In conclusion, I really enjoyed my time in Jordan. I got to try so many new foods, meet so many great people and experience so many things I would highly recommend you to check it out for yourself! Until then, watch this video to get a glimpse of my experience and hopefully it inspires you to explore! Don't forget to like, comment and subscribe to my YouTube channel.

Aqaba only coastal city of Jordan by the Red Sea
Aqaba is the only coastal city in Jordan and the largest and most populous city on the Gulf of Aqaba. Situated in southernmost Jordan, Aqaba is the administrative centre of the Aqaba Governorate. The city had a population of 148,398 in 2015 and a land area of 375 square kilometres (144.8 sq mi). Today, Aqaba plays a major role in the development of the Jordanian economy, through the vibrant trade and tourism sectors. The Port of Aqaba also serves other countries in the region.
Excavations at Tall Hujayrat Al-Ghuzlan and Tall Al-Magass in Aqaba revealed that the city has been an inhabited settlement since 4000 BC, with a thriving copper production on a large scale.
In 64 BC following the Roman conquest of the Levant, they annexed the city and called it Ayla and Aelana. Both Petra and Ayla were under Nabatean influence, but despite the Roman rule, the Nabateans continued to prosper. Ayla reached its peak during Roman times, the great long distance road the Via Traiana Nova led south from Bostra through Amman, terminating in Ayla, where it connected with a west road leading to Philistia and Egypt. Around 106 AD Aqaba was one of the main ports for the Romans. Ayla came under Byzantine Empire rule in 300 AD, where the Aqaba Church was constructed, considered to be the world's very first purpose-built church. A fortress called Helim, was built in the 12th century by the Crusaders, which remains relatively well-preserved today.
ROAD TRIP JORDAN IN 1 MINUTE (FULL HD) featuring Petra, the Dead Sea and the Wadi Rum desert
Jordan: without a doubt one of the most beautiful countries I've ever seen. A magical place that has so much to offer. From floating in the Dead Sea, driving through the moonlike landscapes of the Wadi Rum and exploring the ancient city of Petra - one of the old wonders of the world.
Whether you're in the middle of the desert or in the vibrant capital of Jordan, Amman, the people are incredibly kind and known for their hospitality. And their local cuisine, which I love love love. Visit the lowest point on earth and follow the river in the Wadi Musa or go hiking in Dana Nature Reserve and meet traditional bedouien families. A trip to remember!

South Israel - RED CANYON - DEAD SEA
Israel’s southern region is an ideal travel destination for adventure and outdoor-focused travelers. Beginning in Beersheba, known as the Capital of the Negev, travelers to Israel’s southern region can spend the day floating in the saline-rich Dead Sea; exploring the 2,300-year-old Masada; rappelling and jeep touring in the Ramon Crater, the world’s largest naturally formed crater; and swimming amongst tropical fish and coral reef in the Red Sea near city of Eilat.
Jordan: a safe destination?
Is Jordan a safe destination? If you're planning on visiting Jordan, and not sure whether or not it's a safe destination, watch this!
International media has been shedding light on the Middle East's unrest since the beginning of the Arabic Spring. Today, as Syria enters its sixth year of civil war, people still believe that the Middle East in general is an unsafe to place to visit, associating Jordan with the turmoil happening in the region.
We spent a day walking around the streets of the capital of Jordan; Amman, asking tourists and expats about their experience in the country and safety concerns.
This is a project that was initiated by my brother, Nasser Kawar, and myself to finally have this question answered by visitors and expats.

Petra, Jordan | Most Beautiful place in Jordan I The City of Stone Laila's World
Petra (Arabic: ٱلْبَتْرَاء, romanized: Al-Batrāʾ; Ancient Greek: Πέτρα, Stone), originally known to its inhabitants as Raqmu, is a historical and archaeological city in southern Jordan. Petra lies around Jabal Al-Madbah in a basin surrounded by mountains which form the eastern flank of the Arabah valley that runs from the Dead Sea to the Gulf of Aqaba. The area around Petra has been inhabited as early as 7,000 BC, and the Nabataeans might have settled in what would become the capital city of their kingdom, as early as the 4th century BC. However, archaeological work has only discovered evidence of Nabataean presence dating back to the second century BC, by which time Petra had become their capital. The Nabataeans were nomadic Arabs who invested in Petra's proximity to the trade routes by establishing it as a major regional trading hub.

Jordan Tour Video
Jordan Tour Video: For many people Jordan begins and ends with the magical ancient Nabataean city of Petra. And its true, Petra is without doubt one of the Middle Easts most spectacular, unmissable sights, battling it out with Machu Picchu or Angkor Wat for the title of the worlds most dramatic lost city.
Yet theres so much more to see in Jordan - ruined Roman cities, Crusader castles, desert citadels and powerful biblical sites: the brook where Jesus was baptised, the fortress where Herod beheaded John the Baptist, and the mountain top where Moses cast eyes on the Promised Land. Biblical scenes are not just consigned to the past in Jordan; youll see plenty of men wearing full-flowing robes and leading herds of livestock across the timeless desert. But its not all crusty ruins. Jordans capital Amman is a modern, culturally diverse Arab city which is lightyears away from the typical cliches of Middle Eastern exoticism. The country also offers some of the wildest adventures in the region, as well as an incredibly varied backdrop ranging from the red desert sands of Wadi Rum to the brilliant blues of the coral-filled Gulf of Aqaba; from rich palm-filled wadis to the lifeless Dead Sea. Ultimately its the sensual delights of daily life in the Middle East that youll hanker for longest after you return home; the bittersweet taste of cardamom coffee or the smell of a richly scented nargileh (water pipe); the intoxicating swirl of Arabic pop sliding out of an Amman doorway and the deafening silence of the desert.
Jordanians are a passionate and proud people and the country truly welcomes visitors with open arms. Despite being squeezed between the hotspots of Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Israel the Palestinian Territories, Jordan is probably the safest and most stable country in the region. Regardless of your nationality, youll be greeted with nothing but courtesy and hospitality in this gem of a country.
Enjoy your Jordan Tour Video!

T Travel | The Lost City Of Petra Jordan 2017
Petra (Arabic: البتراء, Al-Batrāʾ; Ancient Greek: Πέτρα), originally known to the Nabataeans as Raqmu, is a historical and archaeological city in southern Jordan. The city is famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system. Another name for Petra is the Rose City due to the color of the stone out of which it is carved. Petra is one of the New7Wonders of the World.
Established possibly as early as 312 BC as the capital city of the Arab Nabataeans, it is a symbol of Jordan, as well as Jordan's most-visited tourist attraction. The Nabataeans were nomadic Arabs who took advantage of Petra's proximity to regional trade routes to establish it as a major trading hub. The Nabataeans are also known for their great ability in constructing efficient water-collecting methods in the barren deserts and their talent in carving structures into solid rocks. Petra lies on the slope of Jebel al-Madhbah (identified by some as the biblical Mount Hor) in a basin among the mountains which form the eastern flank of Arabah (Wadi Araba), the large valley running from the Dead Sea to the Gulf of Aqaba. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985.
The site remained unknown to the Western world until 1812, when it was introduced by Swiss explorer Johann Ludwig Burckhardt. It was described as a rose-red city half as old as time in a Newdigate Prize-winning poem by John William Burgon. UNESCO has described it as one of the most precious cultural properties of man's cultural heritage. Petra was named amongst the New7Wonders of the World in 2007 and was also chosen by the Smithsonian Magazine as one of the 28 Places to See Before You Die.

Kerak with Crusader Castle and surroundings; Jordan
Kerak, Al-Karak, also known as just Karak, is a city in Jordan known for its Crusader castle, the Kerak Castle. The castle is one of the three largest castles in the region, the other two being in Syria. Al-Karak is the capital city of the Karak Governorate.
Kerak lies 140 kilometres to the south of Amman on the ancient King's Highway. It is situated on a hilltop about 1,000 metres (3,300 ft) above sea level and is surrounded on three sides by a valley. Al-Karak has a view of the Dead Sea. A city of about 20,000 people has been built up around the castle and it has buildings from the 19th-century Ottoman period.
Kerrak fell within the Crusader Oultrejourdain, the lands east of the River Jordan and the Dead Sea. In 1132 King Fulk of Jerusalem, made Pagan the Butler Lord of Montreal and Oultrejourdain. Pagan made his headquarters at al-Karak where he built a castle on a hill called by the crusaders Petra Deserti - The Stone of the Desert. His castle, much modified, dominates the town to this day.
