Eastgate was Johannesburg's first 'super-regional' shopping centre. When it opened in 1979, it was the largest shopping centre in the southern hemisphere. It remains one of the largest centres in the country, and is the fourth largest shopping centre in the Gauteng, after Sandton City , Mall of Africa and Menlyn Park. The centre lies next to the R24 airport freeway, between the Johannesburg CBD and O. R. Tambo International Airport.

It was The Legend that made Mauritius well known as a golfing destination when it opened in 1994.

The South African, Hugo Baiocchi, designed the course. It is part of the 5-Star Hotel Belle Mare Plage and is for the exclusive use by the guests of the Constance Hotel Group who may play free of charge. The 70 ha. park is in the middle of an historical deer reserve. An observant golfer can today see deer on the grounds as these wild animals have been successfully reintroduced to the golf course having virtually been exterminated for quite a while.

This golf course clearly belongs to one of the most impressive courses in South Africa, if not the whole world. The intriguingly laid out course lies isolated in a valley surrounded by a wild hilly landscape. Gary Player designed the Lost City Golf Course in 1993, displaying a keen feel for the terrain, which makes the game incredibly varied and different.

hey guys myself and some friends of mine went to go play putt putt in 39 degree weather. it was really fun even though the heat was clearly there. we had a lot of laughs and a lot of amazment as the putt putt ball stopped just before it went into the hole way too many times.

Playgolf Kids Golf Tournament at Kimiad Golf Course Pretoria

Adriano's final Playgolf golf tournament for the year at Kimiad Golf Course and Driving Range, and yup, I'm the caddie, LOL. He did well, hitting the ball nicely, but he really needs to work on his putting *facepalm
Adriano attends Playgolf golf lessons and they hold the Playgolf Kids Golf Tournament at Kimiad Golf Course twice a year. Kimiad is a Par 3 and Par 4 Mashie Golf Course in Moreletapark in Pretoria. There is a driving range and 2 restaurants onsite as well.

Volkswagen's Citi is the best selling car in our history and an irreplaceable part of South African culture. So in 2009, when Volkswagen announced that the car was to be discontinued, it was heartbreaking news for everyone. Ogilvy was briefed to create a farewell campaign so thousands of Citi lovers in SA could find closure as well as create demand for the last few thousand Citis. Their idea was to send the last Citi ever made on a farewell journey around the country. People could say goodbye to the car and sign it like a giant farewell card. A website was created where people could follow the journey live and they opened social media pages for people to say goodbye online. The campaign turned a negative situation - the loss of a South African icon - into a positive celebration of the meaning of Citi to the country's people. Almost every major SA newspaper, blogger, TV station and radio station covered it.



From an advertising perspective, the tour was being filmed to create a farewell TV commercial for Citi. The commercial will be a true-to-life documentation of the tour. It'll showcase South Africa saying goodbye to Citi. Over the years, the car has entrenched itself in South African culture and history. In fact, it's more than just a car, it's an icon and it's become a friend to the South African people, says Ogilvy Cape Town executive creative director, Chris Gotz.

The Citi brand means so many things to so many different people. Thousands drove it as their first car. To them, the brand is all about freedom. Others personalised their Citi's. So for these people, it's about individuality. Some owned and drove a Citi for decades, and then passed it on to their kids. Some were even born in a Citi. In fact, almost everyone has a Citi story and Citi means something different to each of them, adds Gotz
