Turku Castle is a medieval building in the city of Turku in Finland. Together with Turku Cathedral, the castle is one of the oldest buildings still in use and the largest surviving medieval building in Finland. It was founded in the late 13th century and stands on the banks of the Aura River. The River Aura is the heart and soul of Turku. Turku is basically divided into two parts: the old side is home to, among other things, the Cathedral, University and Old Great Square. Linnanmaki - The Amusement Park in Helsinki (Finland)
This video is about Linnamaki Amusement Park located at Pasila in the Helsinki City of Finland.
Linnanmäki is an amusement park in Helsinki, Finland. It was opened on May 27, 1950, and is owned by non-profit Lasten Päivän Säätiö (Children's Day Foundation), which operates the park in order to raise funds to Finnish child welfare work. In 2016, the foundation donated a total of 4.3 million euros.
Linnanmäki is the most popular amusement park in Finland. It has more than 40 different rides of different sizes. It also has other attractions, such as arcades, games, kiosks, restaurants and an outdoor stage on which different performers appear in the summer. Annually the park is visited by over 1 million guests.
This city park is located just north of the city center of Helsinki. The park is located on a hill with nice views of the city. The park feels rather compact and has no discernible theming; the rides and attraction are in close proximity. In addition to the amusement rides the park also contains the Peacock-teatteri, a historical theatre built in 1957 and known for its musical productions. In addition to the park itself, guests can also visit a Sea Life Centre, which opened in 2002. The park also featured Linnanmäen museo from 1996 to 2005, a museum facility which located next to the park's main entrance and housed several exhibitions every year.
The park is easily reached from the city by tram nr 3, 8, 9 and bus nr 23.
Linnanmäki currently has 43 rides, along with many other non-ride based attractions. Probably the most notable ride in the park is the wooden roller coaster Vuoristorata. It is the most recognisable symbol of the park, and was one of the first permanent rides to be built at the park. The oldest ride in Linnanmäki is Karuselli (a carousel), built in 1896.
Linnanmäki has eight roller coasters. Major rides include three tower rides, a ferris wheel, a river rapids ride and spinning rides. The park also has a selection of family and kiddie rides.
Admission to the park is free, and most of the rides can only be ridden with the possession of a ride ticket, or the more popular wristband, which allows the wearer access to all of the park's rides for the entire day. As of 2013, the wristband costs the same for each customer, regardless of height.

From Finland to Lithuania Travel Vlog // Särkänniemi - Turku Night Cruise - Menčiai Limestone Quarry
In this video I will show you few of our adventures traveling around Baltic states. We drove Audi B5 Quattro project car from Finland to Lithuania and back in total visiting in 4 countries. This was one of the most suprising trips that I have ever had, because all of this was not even planned.
In Finland we visited Särkänniemi amusement park and participated in TNC also known as Turku Night Cruise and It was amazing! Looking forward to next event!
In Estonia we stayed overnight in pretty stale hotel so that could've been better. We didn't manage to visit any famous places or parks, so we will have to go back there some time.
In Lithuania we visited Menčiai Limestone Quarry it was one of the most stunning things I had seen, the view was just unbelievable and I would suggest it for everyone who loves to explore abandoned places.
In Latvia we didn't do much, we modified my exhaust and that's pretty much it.
