The park spans 404,064 acres (631.35 sq mi; 163,518.90 ha; 1,635.19 km2).[1] Encompassing a vertical relief of nearly 13,000 feet (4,000 m), the park contains among its natural resources the highest point in the contiguous 48 United States, Mount Whitney, at 14,505 feet (4,421 m) above sea level. Sequoia National Park is a national park in the southern Sierra Nevada east of Visalia, California, in the United States. It was established on September 25, 1890. The park spans 404,064 acres (631.35 sq mi; 163,518.90 ha; 1,635.19 km2).Encompassing a vertical relief of nearly 13,000 feet (4,000 m), the park contains among its natural resources the highest point in the contiguous 48 United States, Mount Whitney, at 14,505 feet (4,421 m) above sea level. The park is south of and contiguous with Kings Canyon National Park; the two are administered by the National Park Service together as the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

The park is famous for its giant sequoia trees, including the General Sherman tree, one of the largest trees on Earth. The General Sherman tree grows in the Giant Forest, which contains five out of the ten largest trees in the world. The Giant Forest is connected by the Generals Highway to Kings Canyon National Park's General Grant Grove, home to the General Grant tree among other giant sequoias. The park's giant sequoia forests are part of 202,430 acres (81,921 ha) of old-growth forests shared by Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Indeed, the parks preserve a landscape that still resembles the southern Sierra Nevada before Euro-American settlement.

WILD PARROTS FLYING OVERHEAD | Southern CA Touring | CAR CRASHES THROUGH KRISPY KREME! - Episode 58

We arrive Southern California and are greeted with green Wild Parrots flying overhead! It was truly a sight to behold. Soon, we make it to the venue that Kathleen is performing at, called Angel City, in Bellflower, CA and have an amazing evening concert. The next day, we get some more time to take in the beautiful California sunshine and some of the blessings that the land has to offer! We end the day with a sweet treat, and surprise Cheth and Zayin with their first trip to Krispy Kreme! It was so hard to choose which donuts to pick, they all looked so delicious. We soon saw an area that was all taped off and learned that a car had recently smashed through the window... except there was no one driving the vehicle! An autonomous vehicle came crashing into the store as the owner was just leaving with his dozen donuts! Hear the testimony of the workers, and join us, the Carnali Crew for this weeks adventure!

Our base camp was in Three Rivers Ca at Sequoia Ranch RV Park - The weather was very warm mid to upper 90's however the RV park is nestled in a canyon with lots of large trees that provided alot of shade also the river that runs along the outer perimeter of the campground was great place to keep cool- The water level was higher than expected considering this years drought.
