ASSISI ITALY | UMBRIA'S PEARL
On our way from Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, Katie and I headed off for Assisi, Umbria and Montepulciano, Tuscany Italy! Our first stop when we got to Tuscany was back to Umbria and Assisi. We saw the Assisi Basilica where St Francis of Assisi was born.
It was our first time exploring Umbria, so we enjoyed some italian cuisine and amazing coffee local from the area.
When you have a few days in Tuscany, it's worth visiting a few different hilltop towns each day in both Umbria and Tuscany.
After visiting Assisi, we went to Cortona, before heading back to Montepulciano and Tuscany.

Our apartment was in the central part of the city near the Duomo. Which was only about a 15 minute walk to the main FUA building. Our apartment was one of the older ones out of them all which gave living here the full experience. There are five girls living in this three bedroom space.
