Aerial Extreme Ltd. Marketing film
A few years ago, whilst working for the assault course, I was asked to produce a short marketing film to be shown at their sites across Britain.
A really great little project, and one of the fastest films I have ever produced. From initial planning right through to final editing I had to complete this production in a little over 24 hours!

Places to see in ( Stoke - UK ) Trentham Monkey Forest
Places to see in ( Stoke - UK ) Trentham Monkey Forest
As part of the regeneration the Trentham Monkey Forest, the first wildlife park of its kind in England, has opened and has been successful. Visitors can roam through the monkey park where 140 Barbary macaque monkeys wander free in the woodlands. There are no fences in place to stop the monkeys from interacting with the visitors, although it is against Trentham Monkey Forest rules to touch the animals and wardens are on standby to ensure the safety of the visitors.
Trentham's Monkey Forest was opened in July 2005. Trentham Monkey Forest consists of 60 acres of forest, which contain 140 Barbary macaques. There is a 0.75 miles (1.21 km) path through the Trentham Monkey Forest along which visitors walk; there are no barriers between the forest and the path, although visitors are confined to the path, which has guides to ensure the safety of both the visitors and monkeys, and there is a fence around the forest.
The Trentham Monkey Forest is one of four owned by the de Turckheim family; the other three are La Montagne des Singes in Alsace, France (opened in 1969), La Forêt des Singes in Lot, France (opened in 1974), and Affenberg Salem close to Bodensee, Germany (opened in 1976). The Trentham Monkey Forest is open to visitors every day between April and October inclusive, and opens on weekends and school holidays in February, March and November.

Trentham Gardens and Monkey World
T he gardens and park at Trentham currently cover some 300 acres. The landscape architecture was designed as a serpentine park by Capability Brown and Henry Holland from 1758 onwards, overlying an earlier formal design attributed to Charles Bridgeman. However, in the twentieth century Trentham Gardens was principally known for the surviving formal gardens laid out in the 1840s by Sir Charles Barry, who also created Italianate gardens at Harewood House and Cliveden.
The gardens were the site of the Trentham Ballroom, which opened in 1931 and closed in 2002. A host of dance, rock and pop bands performed at Trentham Ballroom, including The Who and Led Zeppelin. The Ballroom also hosted degree ceremonies for North Staffordshire Polytechnic.
The Trentham estate is undergoing a major £120-million ( redevelopment by St Modwen Properties plc as a leisure destination called The Trentham Estate.
The project at Trentham includes restoration of the Italian Gardens and woodlands, and creation of a garden centre. The aim is to avoid noisy theme park-like attractions, and instead to offer authentic experiences to older people and younger children. Recently a monkey forest, the first of its kind in England, has opened. Visitors can roam through the park where 140 Barbary Macaque monkeys wander free in the woodlands. There are no fences in place to stop the monkeys from interacting with the visitors, although it is against park rules to touch the animals and wardens are on standby to ensure the safety of the visitors.
David vs Goliath, Aerial Extreme 9th April 2011
So this morning I decided to climb up and jump off a 100ft (34m) tall tree. This is called the Goliath at Aerial Extreme here in Milton Keynes, and today it was free to anyone called David. So, it'd be kind of stupid not to try it eh? Good fun - and for the record climbing it was worse than jumping off of it I reckon!
