Agara Lake:
Agara lake is a 98-acre natural lake located in Agara, Bangalore. It is one of the most well maintained lakes of Bangalore.At one end is a park and a jogging trail encircles the lake.It was in full capacity in August 2017. About 40 species of waterbirds like pelicans and reptiles such as rat snakes are found. Various events also take place.The lake is filled by the water of Madivala lake, through the Raja Kaluve. Surplus water is drained to the Bellandur Lake.
The most famous attraction of Agara lake is the Children-Rooster Globe, which also has been cleaned.

Agara lake is the one the getting popular lake in Bangalore situated on the Outer Ring Road, close to Koramangala and HSR Layout in Bangalore. This lake attracts a large number of people by it's morning and evening joggings, cycling, bird watching. Lake has accommodated more than 40 types of birds species.
Last year, after the process of cleaning and restoration, several varieties of birds have started visiting the lake. The speaks of birds makes the visitors feels relaxed. The lake has also seen an increase in the number of fishes. Hopefully, this lake will completely regain it's earlier beauty and become one of the top tourist place in Bangalore.
How to reach to Agra Lake, Bangalore?
Bangalore is well connected city. Agra lake is located in the heart of city and can be reached by any means of vehicles across the city. Take the bus number 342 from Majestic or KR Market and ticket to Agra. This lake can be seen from the vehicle itself.
With it's facilities this lake is also getting popular with the name 'Agra Cycling Track'. Fast food items like Bhel puri, Bhhutta ( Makka ), Chats, Ice Creams, Coconut water are also available here.
Agra lake is a recommended places in Bangalore to visit with friends family. With friends you can also enjoy the cycling here even if you do not have one. On Gate 4, there Yulu cycle stand which you can easily unlock and enjoy the short internal trips inside. Cycling track is constructed specifically in left side. A large number of people visits this place in weekends.
