Agios Dimitrios is a nice pebbled beach with crystal water, located 14 km northeast of Patitiri on Alonissos. It is a large horseshoe shaped beach, and while it does offer umbrellas and sun chairs, it remains a quieter, more relaxing beach than others on the island.

The Dimosari Gorge is in South Evia is full of wildlife and dense forest. There is a path through the entire ravine, divided into to sections – above and below the village of Lenosaioi. Above the village, the gorge is steep and wild; from Lenosaioi to the sea, it is a narrow valley with a stream on the right. If you continue all the way to the seaside, you will find Agios Dimitrios beach. It is small, secluded and sandy but full of a wide variety of flora and fauna due to the wetlands created by the stream running into the sea. Find details about organized hikes through the gorge at the Tourism Office in the port.
