Agios Efstratios or Saint Eustratius , colloquially Ai Stratis is a small Greek island in the northern Aegean Sea about 30 kilometres southwest of Lemnos and 80 kilometres northwest of Lesbos. The municipality has an area of 43.325 km2. Together with Lemnos and nearby islets it forms the regional unit of Lemnos, part of the Greek archipelagic region of the North Aegean.

EN: Agios Giorgios, This beach is also on the island of Ammouliani on the side facing Ouranoupolis and is accessible by both car from the village or by boat. If you decide to go by car from the village, you will see a lot of other smaller beaches along the way. You may also find a lot of them around the group of small islands surrounding Ammouliani. For all of them, you will of course need a boat but it’s well worth the effort and an unforgettable adventure!
You will find a lot of cafes and taverns scattered in this area.

Βρίσκεται στην Αμμουλιανή από τη μεριά που βλέπει κατά την Ουρανούπολη και μπορείτε να πάτε με δικό σας σκάφος ή νοινιασμένη βάρκα, αλλά και με αυτοκίνητο από το χωριό.
Πηγαίνοντας στον Αι Γιώργη από την Αμμουλιανή, θα βρείτε στο δρόμο σας και άλλες μικρές παραλίες.
Πλήθος μικρών παραλιών θα ανακαλύψετε επίσης στο σύμπλεγμα των νησιών γύρω από την Αμμουλιανή.
Για όλα αυτά βέβαια χρειάζεται βάρκα. Όμως μη χάσετε αυτήν την εμπορεία, αξίζει τον κόπο.
Έχει ταβερνούλες για φαγητό και αναψυχή.

Very popular Karagatsi beach on 5 km of Ammouliani(all good road).Interesting beach with good price on beach bar(you can see price in the begining of video).We were only one afternoon on this beach and maybe beacouse bad water from 1-10 we give 6 for this beach.

AMMOULIANI ISLAND PARADISE – beaches in Halkidiki, Greece

The Ammouliani (Halkidiki) Island’s beaches are THE bomb! It is an absolute paradise amongst other Greek islands. The water is crystal clear, the (sea)food is fresh and sand white. What more can you ask for?!

The island locates, south of Thessaloniki between the Sithonia and the Athos peninsulas. There is a ferry going there every 20 minutes and you can even take your car with you.

I totally recommend this place for a day trip or even a longer relaxing vacation.
